You don't have to be evil either, in fact some of the best Rps are with normal people. That's what makes PS so good in my opinion, there are to many mmo's that have 3 million special people running around. Sometimes its just good to play something that's well... fun.

Honestly, just choose something that will be fun to play. I recommend  choosing  a race that feels like a good fit for the RP that you want to play. The great thing about PS is that you don't need stats to have a good RP. Start simple. Have a personality worked out, then work off of that. Just choose something that fits you.

Have you made a character yet? if so is there an error message? it may be that the character just spawned in the wrong place, and in that case you could get a GM to move you

After reading the parchment, a young enkidukai women walks over to Alliva and begins to sing the poem. After she is finished she holds out her hand to Alliva and says "The road less traveled does not have to be traveled alone."

[That is a beautiful poem]
