There's a bug when loading map npcroom2 : http://www.hydlaa.com/flyspray_upgrade/index.php?do=details&task_id=2157
Until it's fixed, if you want to be able to use 'load all maps', remove anything about npcroom2 from the 'zoneinfo.xml' file located in the 'data' folder of your planeshift installation. Unless you're a GM, you don't need that map.

Okay.
Except otherwise stated, I'll wait a bit then...

Good idea.
I have already translated Neko's introduction post and the part about Abelia into french (I wrote it down but haven't posted it yet!). If anybody wants to translate other part(s) into french, make a sign. Otherwise, I'll translate the whole thing and post it when I have time.

Technical Help: IN GAME bugs (after loading world) / Re: Client shutdown

I did that too some time ago and still had crashes.
Now, it's true that I haven't had much crashes of late (whether running from prompt or not).

I agree with you, Dreamcrafter, hence my previous post about this crash. And furthermore the crashes seem to happen almost anywhen/anywhere, whereas FS#1838 happens whenever one walks into a wall or touches an item.

I've been able to trigger the same crashes at different hours today at the following position in Hydlaa sewers, just having my char walking or turning around : -117.30, 5.00, -141.44 in sector swr-blue.

(It's not too far from the sewers upper entrance, near Kada-El). Sometimes, I could even get crash over crash.

I've also tried running my client in Windows XP compatibility mode, and got the same results.

Finally, an interesting thing, perhaps: other places where I could get the same king of crash are also places where I got a 'received out of bound positional data... ' error.

Maybe both problems are related?

Here are two places, where I could get this error too, though I couldn't get the message 'received out of bound positional data... ' everytime:  sometimes my client just crashed with no message and no dump file, and most of the time nothing happened at all.

First place is at position (-114.59, 5.75, -146.87) in sector swr-blue:

Second one is at position (-137.32, 31.00, -110.85) in sector swr-purple:

My stats:
Windows Vista
Intel Core2 Duo T8300
3070 MB RAM
Nvidia GeForce 8600M GT

Edit: and another one, this time in Kada-El. I'm able to trigger it almost everytime, walking backwards near the chair shown in this pic http://img181.imageshack.us/my.php?image=shot15nl5.jpg

I have the same problem too. Especially in the sewers and the Death Realm, not much in hydlaa and Oja. The problem only happens when I move my char or try to click on something: at some point it was crash after crash with one of my chars everytime I was trying to make him move. I restarted and waited, doing absolutely nothing for a dozen minutes and it didn't crash actually. But as soon as I tried to move the char the client crashed.

The drivers of my graphic card are up to date and my specs are more than ok (I could run more than one client fluently!)
I've tried running the updater with checkintegrity but nothing failed the check. I tried tuning down the settings too, following StitchedChin advice, but that didn't help.
Everything was fine until today, so I don't think it has something to do with the recent update.

Finally, I've been asking around in game and found out other players having had the same problem recently, though a very few.

Yes, even after updating, using the "/who" command with no filter doesn't seem to show the total number of logged in characters anymore, but using it with a filter still does.
