Technical Help: Problems BEFORE entering the game / Game not responding

I used to lag alot but then I fixed it and it was working perfectly... Now today I start the game up and when it\'s done loading it freezes and I do Ctrl-Alt-del and it tells me it\'s not responding. Please help me I\'m getting desperate...
