Great, a wonderful initiative and addition to the homepage. Hopefully, people will read this and will get a better grasp of what roleplaying is about :)

That is absolutely stunning, and I don\'t know what to say other than...well...you don\'t happen to be working for Bethesda Softworks do you? The 3d-graphics are Oblivion-division, and your 2d-work is...umm...quite good, nice, fantastic, amazing, OUTSTANDING.

I\'m really impressed, and I\'m sure the developers share that thought.  :)

Svenskar ?r f?r ?vrigt k?nda f?r att snacka bra engelska ;)

Translation:  Myself, I\'m using a digital swedish/english dictionary to look up words I don\'t understand or can\'t spell, which works excellent. Can be a bit tough after a while, but what the hell. 8)

Besides, swedes are known for speaking good english ;)

Bruno the bandit is by far the most hilarious comic I\'ve ever read. A wonderful satiric fantasy-parody that has made me laught out loud many times (Don\'t read this comic during a lecture).

Bruno the Bandit

Oh yeah, RPG world and nuclearpower are wonderful comics as well  :D

Moogie: Thanks Moogie. Oh, that reminds me of something, \"But, but...it\'s pink\".
Yes I know, but I tried to match the sunrise-sky. It will look better (and less pinkish) in the next version :D

Efflixi: No, I haven\'t left PS, and I don\'t intend to do so for a long time. I\'m just more active in game than on the forums at the moment.  :)

Seytra: Indeed, but it\'s just a practice model after all. The \"real\" version will look entirely different.  :)

Fan Art / Jadds thread of art.
« on: May 11, 2005, 01:18:43 pm »
Hello, I\'m starting up a new thread of art since I don\'t want my first one to loose its status as the first thread created on the art-forum ;)  (and besides, my name has changed).

If you\'re wondering what is happening to my comic \"Planeshift: Adventures in Yliakum\", the answer is that it\'s still alive, but inactive at the moment since I am away studying in England. I made a lot of comics when I was at home that I unfortunaly didn\'t bring with me. The comic will go on as soon as I am back home which should be around june. :)

Here follows some of the art that I have created so far. These ones was made in Blender and was the first real models that I made.

The first version of the citadel of light. It was quite dull by then though...

The second version of the citadel of light. A lot more colorful and with more environmental addition. (I know that the bushes looks completely unnatural. I need to practice my particle-skills) This second version was also my last one in Blender.
I want to work professionaly so I have switched over to the CG-application MAYA. It will take a while to learn it, but it will be worth it, I am sure.

The internal part of the second version of the citadel of light. Note that this citadel is only a test-model I made, the real one will be totally different.

Hope you like them. I find CG really interesting, and you will definitly see more artwork from me as soon as I have learned more about the application.

Nice, we needed a guild for all the scum....ehhh, I mean \"less fortunate\" people of Yliakum  ;)

Hehe, this is like in the Tamuli saga where all lowlifes bands together and creates a structurated society. Is there a handbook for begging by the way? You could make one and name it \"beg for mercy\"  :D

No, but really, nice idea Buddha. Good luck :)

Oh no...  8o
This is very sad news indeed. You were our former allies, and we will always remember you as friends and one of the greatest guilds in Yliakum.
Another chapter in the saga of Yliakum ends, but although this is the end of one thing, it might be the beginning of something else, and whatever you decide to do in the future guys....good luck to you!

May your paths always be green my friends...We will never forget you.  :(

As Planeshift enters the Crystal Blue era, so does Mirth-guild. I have had the pleasure to meet some of you in game already, and it feels good to see how Planeshift progresses.
I want to announce that us happy-people are still here, and that we are recruiting new people to the cause of goodness, so if you\'re interested in joining our peaceful and joyful guild, just fill in the sign up form on our forums. Our site www.Mirthsite.tk  is upgraded to a new version, the graphics are better and there is some additional content on it now, just like CB :D I hope that you like it.
Mirth guild has been around since April 2002 now, and we won\'t leave you that easily. We are here to stay, and we intend to have real fun while doing it!

I have been busy for some time now, and my access to a decent computer at the weekends is limited due to the fact that I can only get access from my schools connection, and also I have loads of homework to do. That doesn\'t stop me from being active during the week day afternoons though.

See you in game guys. :)

Guilds Forum / Official entry from Mirth
« on: December 20, 2004, 01:49:09 am »
Hello, This is the official contribution from Mirth guild.
The three colors of Mirth  represents what we stand for, and explains our values.  :)

Colors of Mirth

Colors three,
of Mirth and harmony,
make people see,
cleanse their acrimony.

The color of yellow,
Which stands for energy and joy,
like seeds on an acre we will deploy,
In people\'s hearts, giving hope to them all,
Sorrows begone, heed our Mirthfull call!

The color of Green,
Which stands for balance and law,
a world without order is violent and raw,
Following the way of truth and love,
Fear and horror we will never approve!

The color of Blue,
Which stands for innocence and peace,
from fear and from hatred, a pleasant release.
Put down your weapon, look into your heart,
it\'s never too late for a mirthful restart.

\"Good\" and \"evil\" is something that is made up by humans to make sure that our society is working right. But the meaning of it can differ between from where you happen to be at the moment.
What is \"evil\" for us can be concidered good in another culture. It\'s a fact that it was society that created those things to gain control over people. They invented those things we call \"right\" and \"wrong\", since total chaos can be pretty hard to control.
Things like \"don\'t steal other peoples belongings\" or \"you shouldn\'t kill others\" was created. Those who didn\'t obey the rules was punished.
Mostly of us agree that a lawless culture with a large population would be problematic...

In other cultures however people look at \"right\" or \"wrong\" in a different way, and what is good for one, can be evil to another. Therefore there isn\'t anything like \"good\" or \"evil\". It\'s created by civilization.
Do you think Hitler looked at himself as \"evil\"? He though that he did the world a favor by \"cleansing it\" from the jewish people. Do you think he though \"Oh, I\'m so evil, I\'m going to wreak havoc and exterminate a whole people just to mess with the world\"?
He didn\'t, and from his perspective he was the \"good\" guy, and the people with similar thoughts saw him as a \"good\" person. If the Nazis had won the war and the whole world had been Nazi, People would look upon him as a \"good\" man because their perspective about good or evil had changed.
So Cabal can be \"good\" from their own perspective, although us \"good\" people see them as evil and vice versa. That\'s the way it is.

Look at the USA vs. Irac conflict. Both sides belives they fight for \"good\". They fight against what they think is \"evil\", and the \"winners\" (Like if there is any in a war) will be the good guys.

So everything is relative. Everyone has different views on what is right or wrong.

But anyway, I\'m looking forward to the epic battle between \"good and \"evil\" in Yliakum. I am good, what are you?  ;)

Huge is the word, it holds the record as the biggest LAN in the world with 6000 participants. Mainly it\'s for gamers, and for those interested in creating games.
They have things on the program like \"how to create sounds and music for video games\", \"how to create 2D/3d graphics\" and so on. It\'s really fun to listen to pros on the different areas.
Also there is schools for game-creation who are holding exhibitions, live-counterstrike, different game-designers who shows their products, Gaming-competitions, artists etc.
