Wish list / idea!...

Here are a few ideas that randomly popped into my head....

1. Randomly spawning uber dragons!
- spawns rarely(twice a day?) near cities full of noobs :) so they can run for their lives
- eliminates groups camping in one place to kill an uber monster
- cities can have something with hitpoints in them... like obelisks
- if dragon destroys obellisks major economic problems(ie. double prices in shops for a set period of time... like... a few hours?) simulating what happens when... a dragon ruins a town!
- dragon disappears in an hour if not killed
- person who deals certain amount of damage to dragon gets some sort of reward for defending city!
- could force people to quickly form armies...maybe...

2. FEAR OF DYING!
- browsing the forums i picked one of the most terrible rpg fun killers that form... KILLING FOR EXP/or money. in real life you fight to survive, but in most rpgs dying isn\'t that bad, so people will just go out not caring if they die. so if their was a higher penalty for dying it could make people form parties not for faster xp, but to survive.
- higher penalty for dying (you automatically log out and can\'t log back in for an hour? or something) could simulate the NO RETURN aspect of dying in real life... to a lesser extent. Like if you\'re friend dies and is out for an hour you\'ll be like \"FRICK!\" but if your friend comes back in ten minutes you\'re just like \"frick\"
- makes people afraid of dying

Newbie Help (Start Here) / advantages + disadvantages
« on: July 24, 2004, 06:16:00 am »
Are advantages and disadvantages long term or short term? ie. if you chose to disadvantage azure in the beginning, and you later chose to become the strongest mage possible (in azure), could u still do it? or would the disadvantage stay?(ie. permanent damage calculation alteration or something)

or could it be corrected with a little extra work in a case where you started with a less than average azure skill points in the beginning?
