I have seen pictures of people getting onto rooftops, how did they do it? Do you have to be a specific type of char or something?

Technical Help: Problems BEFORE entering the game / Problems exiting the game

This is a reletively small problem....but it can be quite irritating. When I try to exit the game, it freezes up on me. Its starting to drive me insane, because whenever I want to exit, I have to Control/Alt/Delete and shut down Planeshift from there, and even then it seems to shut down slowly. I also know the game is frozen, its not just very slow at shutting down...because when I do eventually hit control/alt/delete it says that planeshift is not responding. so.....can anybody help me? Please?
