Well, I live in Romania and the prices here go waaaaay high. 56k is exensive but cable goes sky-rocket unless you share your connection with somebody.
16kb/s is 40 Euros with limited download which is extremely expensive for us, the salaries being very low.
I have a cable connection but it\'s not very good because in order to pay less we got a good DSL for the server, and the brodband is shared among a LOT of people. My connection speed is 2-3 kb/s so that puts me in the 56k section.
The good part is that I have to pay less than iI normally would through a telephone line and there\'s a fixed price.
