Wish list / Character Generation

I think you should be able to Personalize (is that a word?) your character really much... Like how your face looks, and your hairstyle and color, and how long/short you are (With some limits, depending on the race) and fatness, If you are really big, or just really thin. (some limits here too), and your muscles, if you are strong, or weak. And then, when you play the game, and fight much, mine much or something else, your muscles grow!

The thin, fatness, little muscles, big muscles could be at the \'Advantages/Disadvantages\' screen. Like if you are strong you get more Hp and hit harder, but you need to take a disadvantage too! (like unlucky, or something)

And then I think you should be able to \'cuztomize\' your characters clothes. Like, if you are in a clothier and want some clothes, you could decide colors and how big they are, and the looks. And if you want a long or short arm-length on the clothes arms, and such.

All this things maybe cant make it into the Game engine,
but anyway I think its some good ideas... :/

But, there should be a experience loss to thoes who smith stuff (depending on the difficulty/power of the item) Or else everybody would go smithing same super power items at the \"extremely powerfull site\" and sell them for millio?ns, over and over again :/

So there should be some sort of losses (like exp) for smithing

Ok... I am going to be a good aligned... uh... Necromancer type... :rolleyes:
But being a Necromancer doesnt REALLY make me evil...

Just say that I am walking in a city, then a thief MAYBE
took my little bag of gold, so i just cast a Meteor Strike spell on the city to take him out, and then i see that He didn\'t take it, but I had it in my other pocket!
So i did kill the whole city to take him out, but that doesnt *really* make me evil, I just thougth he took it...
There\'s one city less (and a couple of hundred citizens less), but hey, there\'s plenty more of them cities in the world, so I shouldnt really bother... You know they COULD build it up again... and move some people there... And then it would be like nothing happened!

So I am not evil... not at all...  :rolleyes:

if it is going to be like this, maybe it shouldbe added to your name, like Azrum the Dragon Slayer or something like that...

It would look weird if everybody had that, so you could press a little button in the \'options\' menu you coud turn it off/on.

It\'s just some weird idea i made.

I will be evil!

I think that good and evil sides must have their disadvantages and advantages(I think some ppl already mentioned this in an old thread, but i will say it anyway)
Example:
You are an Evil wizard and wants to get that extraordinairy staff of total destruction, so you tell the shopkeeper that if he don\'t give you that staff for a better price, you will simply kill him, so you will get it for a better price for scaring the shopkeeper.
Example 2:
You are an Good Paladin type character and goes to the shop, and you will get a better price because the shopkeeper thinks you are so nice.... (or something)

The race would depend on the extra stats/skill points and hte one owith the most int (probably a Lemur) and i would be some sort of evil spellcaster

This is a reeeeaaaaally long message so take your time, or just don\'t even bother, you lazy pie!.

Looks:
I think you should be able to customize your characters looks so you would look unique(alittle atleast) realted to the others, (it\'s kinda boring when everybody looks the same). Like you should be able to change your clothes color, your head graphic(you could choose different depending on your charisma), muscularity (depending on str), and maybe even tone your skin color (not \'change\', \'tone\'!) so you could tone your skin, lighter or darker?
And maybe have tatoos from your earlier life, your guild, or maybe just for fun? (mentioned in an earlier post). And if you are hurt/poisoned/diseased it would show on your body. Like if you are hurt it would be a bruise, scar, fleshwound, wound, or a mayor bleeding wound (depending on your damage) and your skin tone would change if you were sick... And when you are hurt, you need to wear bandages(would be seen on your character) for a few days(depending on how hurt you are) And your stats/skills would be weaker until you were cured. (magics wound heal you without bandages, and you wouldn\'t have to wait all day long to get cured, but(if you dont have a mage in your party) you would need to buy salves/potions or be healed by a healer, the magic would be more expencive, but more effective)
I know this would take time to code and it would bring lots of lag, but it would be cool.

Gods:
It would be cool if you could worship some sort of gods in Planeshift. Like, if you are evil you worship an evil god, and if you are good you worship an good god.
And if you pray, or sacrife something (like an item) to the god you gain some \"Godly Blessing/Power\" or something. And then later, you could use it to do some powerfull magic, or forge a magical weapon, or boost your stats for some time.

Weapons:
Weird Weapon thingie: It would also be cool if the weapons have a name (as they mentioned in the Individuality thread) and then, you could level the weapon too! (From Gorasul) or you could just boost it with some exp in the smithy, or even level it with some \"Godly Power\"?

Character Stuff:
Maybe you should be able to see a characters name just by clicking on him?

Vision stuff:
And i just got this idea now. (i dont know if perception will be a statistic in the game but anyhow...) If you had a low perception rate, your vision range would be low (so the world would be foggy, and you cant see that house 10 feet away) and if you have a high perception rate, you would see really far away. (this vision range could be affected by day/night cycling, if there is going to be a world outside this cave.) And maybe if you are diseased/poisoned or something your vision range would be lowered too.

Sicknesses?
It would be cool (but bad for everybody) if there was going to be diseases in the world, like if there is living to many people in the city, some sort of filth disease would strike it and everybody that drinks the water or talks with that man, or something would get sick?

It\'s just some weird evil thing i just thought of... I would really like this game to be as the \'real\' world but in some sort of old time fantasy universe. I think that would be nifty.

I got the weapons idea pretty late at night and i haven\'t had the time to \"fix\" it, so it may some a little weird.  :)

Hey! I CAN\'T be saying this!:
1. Maybe official (game)marriage can be able in the game (like you are married in the game, not for real :P) so there would be a priest, a crowd, rings, and of course the MOST desirable: CAKE! :9
2. I have seen a thread about this but i didn\'t really see an answer, Horses.

And yeah... now my little twinking evil wizard\'s brain starts to twirl and i get the idea of really strong magics! like the ones that takes 2 days to cast to create a magic staff (needs different types of wood and such too) and if you are like 20 VERY strong mages, you could start chanting for some weeks and even stop the sun(in the \'land above\')...!(it wouldnt do anything, you would just stop the sun, and you would be rememberad as \'the one that did -points to the sky- that!\' :D

I just said ^that^ because i thaught it would be cool. It would be impossible to code such powerful magics (the ones that makes you all-powerful so you can do \'anything\'. but indeed, it would be cool.

It says you will be able to be transported between towns with flying creatures, and I am wondering if they\'ll just take you there, or will you be able to move the creatures yourself? (Moving the creatures yourself would be cool, but would make a problem when you want to get to a town you don\'t know where it is)

hehe... you are right about that. You can\'t find a piece of a powerful item lying under a rock in a forest, but as you said it could be cool to find one after a quest.

And btw does anyone know if weapons will be breakable, like they have a durability rate?

Cool thing:
If you could walk around the world and find weapon pieces and then when you think you have?some cool pieces, you could put the together in a smithy! Then the weapons would be like personal and that would be cool (and btw, some pieces could have special atributes and enhancements. And maybe even some rare pieces that would be awfully powerful  ;) )
