Very true, that\'s why i wait until a .5 at the end before i upgrade. With time i came across so many useful apps for 10.3 and higher only, i simply can\'t imagine anymore using my mac without them. The longer i wait, the more apps being updated are going 10.4 only. Debating to upgrade now or wait for .6. That\'s why i consider 10.2 \'outdated\' but that\'s only my personal opinion.

Sorry, sometimes i forget that there are people buying (shudders at the sound of that word, lol) their software. It\'s true that new os\'s bring problems, that\'s why i never upgrade before there\'s a .5 at the end, hehe.
I hesitated for long time now but more and more updated versions of apps are 10.4 only.

PS doesn\'t work on 10.2 for another known reason, that is, CS uses libmx for several floating point math functions if it\'s available instead of using it\'s own built in (and probably slower) implementations.

Could that be the reason why the game runs so much speedier than the previous versions? Or because the hardware doesn\'t have to fiddle with sound? It runs much faster on my ibook g4 800 now.
If it\'s the first case please leave it as it is. I don\'t know how many people are still using osx 10.2 but.. it\'s getting really outdated.

ppl, you don\'t have to create /sw/lib folders. just copy the libpng12.0.dylib together with the libcal3d.11.dylib into /usr/local/lib.
as far as i know, unix/linux systems look first in /usr then /usr/local for files if an app can\'t find them, following by other possible places such as /sw.

nope, the bug is still existent. furthermore the libpng12.0.dylib needs to be copied into /usr/local/lib too, since without it the game is unable to load any .png files.
my guess is that the mac dev set the linking variables for these two files wrong during compiling some files but i might be wrong.

Should be some fixes in the next week.
Thanks,
Daniel

please, omg please make a seperate file of the updater available for d/l when the prob is solved. another 270mb d/l on dial-up would be an overkill.
