Hey every1, I am sorta new here. What I mean by sorta is that I was a beta tester for crystal, but haven\'t played since because I had a computer problem. Now with my new computer, im ready to go. I basically forgot everything, but I remember my way around the area, but that\'s pretty much it. I was wondering if any1 could point me to some quests, or how to get money so I can get some weapons. I was also wondering how I start mining and magic and stuff. I heard some stuff about trainers, Im not sure what thats about. Thanks

Try to put this one on your PS folder and rerun the updater, preferently in recover mode so you can see what\'s doing more precisely.

(I have the same problem) that file seems to be already in my folder.

I ran the updater just today and before and whatever so its not the problem. The problem is, is that whenever I click the PS icon to turn on the game, I get this:

what do I dooo? what am I doing wrong?

EDIT: hmm my bad PS community, but Wisekran already posted that same problem so mods you can delete this. http://www.planeshift3d.com/wbboard/thread.php?threadid=19859&boardid=17&styleid=3&sid=0894ad3b943d1a0322d0f0fb7ca0adde

General Discussion / Will PS be have linear or wide geology?
« on: March 18, 2005, 08:04:42 am »
I was wondering what kind of gaming area are the devs aming for in Planeshift. I was playing the game, and while the towns are open and free, the roads to certain places are restriced and narrow. For instance the road to the woods has plains on either side blocked by invisible walls and in the forest its just a long path with trees as walls on the sides. The only path is through the woods, everywhere else is restricted. So my question is, is that how PS will end, with narrow paths and invisible walls, or will it be more like Everquest with open land and nothing is blocked off except by obvious geologic and artificial objects.

Yeah I though about that, but I\'m too lazy. :)

Well you did a nice job changing the image, but it isn\'t right to be editing \"Link\". He is and always will be perfect the way he is imaged already :)

Thats why I left the original design with the pic. :))

I would also suggest, to try your best at removing the sheath, It lends him the appearence of the past... so in the future pic, it should go.

I know I tried, and I did it. But it looked extremely sketchy. I am not that good at photoshop.

Hey hey, fellow Planeshifters, I have not been on in a while, but glad to be back. Anyway, yesterday I was bored and desided to make a sig for http://www.gamespot.com but it turns out I am not yet allowed to do it. So I wanna show it to everyone else. It is a cool percpective of Link in the future, playes off of the concespt \"hero of time\". I used photoshop, I know its very amaturish but it looks cool. I removed the sheath from the link future pic, but looked messy, so I left it on.

THe second shoulder is better. One more thing, the long ear creeps the hell out of me. It ruins the mood of the picture. I would prefer it to be less longer and less pointy.

You should always have the most up-to-date drivers for your hardware. Funny you should be talking about the new NVidia drivers, as I just this second finished installing them for myself. :D

BTW- if you don\'t have an NVidia graphics card, do not get NVidia\'s drivers! Common sense, I know, but...

crap, i downloaded them last night, 1am, was tired. thanks for  the save moogie
