I\'m not that orthodox in my \'fantasy\' imagination it is just that I do not want this to become starwars, whit or whitout the x-wing.

If there were machines in anyway then I would classify this game as a sci-fi fantasy game aka star wars, and that is not what i hope for.

And even if it is not original the \'old fashion\' fantasy setting is not that exploited. I may not have played that many games that call themself \'fantasy game\' but almost everyone of those tries to be inovative from the \'old fashin fantasy\' that is non existing.

That is my two cents..

Why should we bother with gunpowder (and other modern things) when there are magic? Okey that may not be the best reason but atleast It is what i think.

I agree, and my example were just an idea for the basic script.

I would love a dynamic set of \'action buttons\' (?) that will appear and disappear with certain event\'s. When there is music on a tavern or anything like that a button will appear to invite someone of your choice to a dance. If you make it simpel people will dance, greet others and do the things that gives atmosphere.

I really hope that I made some sense there!

Is it not possible to make a script that do all the greetings for you?

Example;
You walk down the street and you notice three people that you have spoken too before, the script will have some kind of \'DB/log\' with people that you have talked too and execute \'nod\' move, if your real close and your standing still it will do the \'handshake\' ;) etc etc.

A limit to the handshake and nod movement will be needed so that your character only do these \'actions\'.

Lets say that you meet 20 people on that same street, I don\'t wont to be looked upon by others as some head banging retard, so my character may only nod to five of the closest/most talked to.

I don\'t want to klick a bottom or write a command every time I see anyone that i reckon.

None range weapon.

Character stats: (for weapon handling/skill)
Weapon/Type Skill - decide max damage of the type of weapon.
Mass/Size - How big you are. Dwarf swinging the lance of length (4 times your length)
Strength - Decide how well you will swing the ?bersword of penetration (2 ton)

Weapon Req:
Weight - Decide optimal strength
Mass / size / Type - How big the weapon are. Axe, Morning star, Sword and all the other stuff.. (Possibly split)
Quality - I would vote for just three different. Maybe rusty/old (not that common), Fine Craft (Most Common) and Master Craft (least common)
Enchantment - whatever.

Something like that is what a prefer. But the most important thing for me is that it should be easy for me to figure out what kind of weapon my character would wield the best. e.g. When I view my character stats It will list what type of weapon that would suite me best, and when (I have not read anything on level up or the like) you level up It should be easy to know what stats to focus on.

The terms may not be the best, please don\'t focus on spelling and grammar just try to understand me.

I never understand why there ever wera a sword of \"?ber

the skill, it is the person wielding it who got it...

The lighter armor and better metal thing then? There don\'t
have to be hundreds of different metals...

I\'m not against the fact that you can be ?ber-master in one
thing, but you should not be able to be a master of all
trades...
