Technical Help: IN GAME bugs (after loading world) / Character Creation Lists

The lists in the character creation portion of the game don\'t work for me. As suggested, I\'ve clicked around the screen and selected \"randomize\" but this only allows the sibling and childhood lists to appear.. The rest are still empty.

I was just wondering if it\'s possible to delete a character so that their name may be used again?
