I got an idea today for the final release of plane shift, ya I know its still and long long way away, but I have a bad memory so I will post it now hoping that it will be considered and remembered when planeshift is done.

Anyways my idea is so sell a boxed copy of the game at computer stores. Yes I know that planeshift is a free game  (and that?s what?s going to make this game so great) but here me out for a second. This boxed copy could contain a pressed CD, a map of the game, a printed manual and maybe some other stuff like a keyboard guide. Now of course all of this stuff would be freely available online., and no advantage would be given to anyone that purchased a box copy.

A box copy like this would allow users to help support the game, allow users with slower connections to get planeshift easier, and would give exposure to the game while it is displayed at retailers.
