Technical Help: Problems BEFORE entering the game / Cannot run Planeshift please help

Okay, I updated using the updater and everything (which, is it supposed to be all messed up? Mine is all black and everything overlaps everything but it still updates. and when I put the mouse in the window it disappears...) anyway when I double-click Planeshift icon on the desktop I get a black DOS window that pauses for about 10 seconds then it says exactly this;

Then I get a windows error message that says this:

Something unexpected happened in Planeshift Crystal Blue
Exception at address: 00BE16AD, Exception code: C0000005

Would you like to save a diagnostic file?

When I choose YES it says that it is saved the diagnostic file but its not really there when I go to the said file location

But anyway I mainly don\'t care about the diagnostic file thing I just want Planeshift to work again! Please help.

I\'d give you my system specs (but I don\'t know them...) but Planeshift (used to) and other MMORPGs work fine on my computer. So it\'s not that.

Please help!

I tried turning off the sound like other people suggested... it just  goes past the loading map then pops up more of these errors only its a different number @_@

This is the message I recieved. The program gets to loading map and then this pops-up.

It asks \'yes\' or \'no\'. If I click \'no\' the entire program shuts down. If I cllick \'yes\' this comes up:

The only choice is \'OK\'. I would have sent the file to the Planeshift team but that file is not there I checked over and over and I checked in every Planeshift folder. I don\'t know what to do I hope that you guys can help! I wanna play Planeshift!  ;(


EDIT: Here\'s another thing: that link goes to a 404 Not Found page...  :P

I cannot log in. I got into the game for the first time for about 10 minutes. There was a lot of lag but I was able to still move. Then my guy stopped moving altogether and the game went unresponsive. I ctr+alt+del closed it. I then gave up for about an hour (char-creation takes a long time!) re-tried it and now when I open the game it goes all the way through then it get\'s to that main loading screen that shows Hydlaa Plaza in the background. It goes through the first loading... then it gets to loading map... and a error message pops up saying \'Something unexpected has happened in Planeshift and it will have to close. Then it asks me to save some file and I said yes. It then gives another message to send this file to Planeshift, okay, but when I go there the file is not there! So I don\'t know what to do. Please help! :(

Holy crap! I downloaded FlashGet, (only took 3-5 minutes and the estimated download time is only 15 hours!!!!!!! NetLeech would have taken 3 days!!!!!!!! THANKS SO MUCH!!!!!!!!!!

EDIT: Oh really? I didn\'t know that cause there is a register button so I thought you HAD to register XD. Thanks I\'m downloading FlashGet with NetLeech, then Im deleting NetLeech and downloading Planeshift @_@ no sleep for me tonight. LOL thanks a lot for the new download manager!

And I guess the EDIT button escaped me otherwise I would\'ve just edited my first post. @_@ thanks again! BYE!

I\'m downloading Planeshift with NetLeech... it estimates a total of 3.0 days............. I don\'t think this is how long its supposed to take.......right?.....anyway if anyone downloaded Planeshift with a faster free download accelerator can you please post it and a link? Thanks! Otherwise if 3 days is how longs it really takes.....I\'m going to go crazy waiting!!!!!!!!! :(

Help! I can\'t download Crystal Blue. When I click the download an authorization box pops up. It asks for my
Username and password. I guessed since I reserved my name from Molecular Blue that that is what I am supposed to put but when I enter that the same box pops-up again and asks it. I re-did the username and password with a capital at the beginning, and all lowercase, and with all caps and practically every way I could possibly imagine that I could spell my username and password but after three tries it goes to a page that says this:

HTTP Error 401
401.1 Unauthorized: Logon Failed

This error indicates that the credentials passed to the server do not match the credentials required to log on to the server.

Please contact the Web server\'s administrator to verify that you have permission to access the requested resource.

Please help! I want to see what\'s new in Crystal Blue and I really want to get into the game as soon as possible, please help! ;(

I signed up for Planeshift and have had my game for probably (a year or more?) Anyway, I play it occasionally but I have been reluctant because of my character getting frozen for 2-3 minutes due to lag. I know that this should be fixed in Crystal Blue when it is released so I have been waiting for the release to start playing Planeshift aggressively, anyway I recently thought of the Planeshift updater and Crystal Blue... are all accounts going to be wiped out? (I only had 3 red crystals...) but still I just wondered how this will work. Will I be able to transfer my account there? And if so will I get to re-create my character with the new races/classes etc. that are availible in Crystal Blue? Just wondered how this is all going to happen. Can someone please explain it to me? Thanks!

EDIT: I just signed up for the foums today that is why I\'m a \'newbie\' here. ^^
