\"Cyl\", there was an undertone of exasperation, and \'i thought you knew me better than that\' look in Leiraine\'s eyes, \"I was gonna share it anyways. I couldn\'t watch everyone getting ripped off, now could I?\" She gave him an apologetic smile, \"Sorry for putting you in the middle of this.\"

\"Phinehas\", she nodded coming over to the Lemur. The briskness of her walk and the glint in her eyes clearly showed that Leiraine was very pleased with herself. Indeed, she rarely got to use any magic outside of lessons, and at that moment felt liek a kid who got away with a prank. \"How are you? Are you also going on this journey?\"

\"Cyl, are you actually accusing me of stealing? You should be ashamed of yourself. You probably lost it somewhere\", the Xacha walked away from him, shaking her head indignantly.

\"Eh girl, very amusing, very amusing\", Frent clapped several times, slowly and loudly - a mocking kind of applause. \"I must congratulate you, I don\'t know how you\'ve done it. All I saw was flask there one moment, and gone the next.\" Leiraine glared at the dwarf, her nostrills flaring slghtly, and her fists clenched tightly. Eyeing her lazily, Frent continued in a cheerful voice, \"Did I say something wrong? On, I\'m sorry, I guess you didn\'t want anyone to know. Now, that\'s not a pretty face at all.\"

Leiraine\'s swinged her hand to slap the Dwarf, but he caught her arm in mid air, just when it was about to reach his cheek. \"Why? I was only complimenting your skills, lady\", he sneered, \"in fact, I was about to invite you to the party, and with good money, too! And you are trying to hit me? Where are your manners? Not that I care. Two circles, miss (and plenty more with your skills, I should add).\"
\"Never!\"
\"All right, ten circles.\"
\"You can\'t buy me, you dirty...\"
\"Twenty\" The dwarf looked amused and studied Leiraine\'s frozen expression carefully. Finally, she nodded weakly. Money like that could not be refused. \"That\'s a good girl. So its settled\", Frent might not have been pleased with promising so much money, but he looked very much satisfied, \"I always knew women can be bought\".

\"I always knew men can be tricked\", Leiraine looked triumphant. She opened her fist to reveal a small glyph, and Cyl\'s flask reappeared where it was in the beginning. \"I simply used Azure spell to make it seem like the flask disappeared. I would have gone on your journey anyway, but good money never hurts, now does it?\", she winked at Frent.

Name: Leiraine Lomelinde (Lei)
Race: female Xacha
Profession: adept studying blue and azure ways in Arcane Order
Age: 18
Height: 1.55m
Appearance: Leiraine is most like a Xacha in appearance, slender and graceful young woman, her skin a pure white colour which takes on a lightest shade of azure in the Crystal\'s light. It can only be guessed that Leiraine is half-Dermorian because she is very short, nowhere near a pure Xacha
Possessions: family heirloom pendant shaped as a water lily, a bag with blue and azure glyphs, a mirror, a blue dress and a good travelling cloak
Weapons: knives, katars and shuriken hidden very well over her body
Background and Personality: http://www.arcane-order.com/viewmember.php?member=65
Usefull Skills: stealth, ability to gain other\'s trust

Not at all discouraged by Cyl\'s comment, Lei grinned even more cheerfully. \"No Cyl, but have you been taking cheerfulness lessons from Phinehas? I haven\'t seen Laith today, though.\"

Turning to the Kran, Leiraine made a light curtsey, \"You are flattering me, dear Lord. Name is Leiraine, though Lei is what most call me\". From her Dermorian mother she inherited only the height, and therefore looked extraordinarily small and fragile compared to the Kran.

\"Now, what do you have against Master Dwarf here?\", she asked the Kran warmly, her concentration revealed for a fleeting moment by several wrinkles across her forehead.

\"He is taking me for someone else!\", the Dwarf said with an emphasis, glaring at the Kran. They seemed to have a staring competition. Backing away, Leiraine bumped into Cyl, \"Oh.. gah.. sorry! Would you please enlighten me about what\'s happenning here?\", she whispered to him making the foxy \'you-can\'t-say-no-to-me\" face.

Leiraine rushed through the doors looking uncharacteristically tattered and overly excited. \"Oh Cyl!\", she beamed across the room at him, \"thought I\'d find you here\". Running  up to him, she stopped short of flanging her arms around his neck. \"Um.. thank you, Cyl\", she bowed lightly, \"I owe you one!\"

Seeming to notice for the first time that there were other people in the tavern, she smiled to Phinehas and Tybalt, the only oter people she recognised, \"Hello, my good sirs. What a great day it is. How are you?\"

Definitely a sidekick. Lei doesn\'t have any desire to lead and do great things, and she\'s quite happy staying in the background unnoticed as much as possible.. in the end, she gets whatever she needs anyway 0:)

I love the idea! Great guild, and I hope very much you will succeed!

About the interractions, I think there is a well to explore about how the members will be fetching info in the first place. Listenning at the doors? Arranging some sort of deals with \'natural\' gatherers of information, like inn keepers and maids? Setting up some kind of posts at the crowded places and events? I know I might be going slightly out of Yliakum\'s setting in its current state, but hey, isn\'t there no limit to rp? ;)

It\'s ok to glare at Windy, really. It\'s not like he\'d throw a fireball at you :D

There have been conversations on this at Kada\'s. I would suggest reading up on those, and then moving on from there.

If you are referring to the hellish discussion you and Draklar had, then i was actually crazy enough to read all... what was it, 5 pages? ... a while ago :P . And i think what i\'m trying to say here is differrent from what you\'ve been discussing (not to mention it\'s the radical opposite of my character\'s opnion on the matter :P )

I am not sure if I agree completely. Sure, it makes sense to associate various feelins with different elements, but there is always a reverse side to the coin, so to say.

I\'ll illustrate what I mean using the Bluw way. Of course, its easy to imagine an unhasty guy who slowly and steadily builds up a tsunami. But there is nothing wrong with a passionate impulsive character who would send a sharp icicle flying at someone who simply startled him. To extend your comparison, sure there is much stediness in water element, but there are also waterfalls, and avelanches, and thunderstorms.

Cyl, you should open a fortune telling business ;)

My main way is Blue, followed by Azure. A good \'buffering\' combo, i\'d say. Also, the two ways that have most to do with mind, a very interesting area (and in my opinion, the most closely-bound with magic, like physical strength is connected to body).

Excellent story. I read about half of it in school, and honestly couldn\'t wait to read the rest, but couldn\'t get online. The character development is great. You describe just enough of Sergeant to not make him too stereotypical, but at the same time, the reader get a feeling that they know exactly what kind of guy he is. For all the time you spent describing The Sergeant in the opening, I\'d possibly suggest a bit more attention paid to his downfall. But frankly, its great as it is.

Although I did have an urge to pick at least on something, so here:

You obviously haven\'t talked to AO apprentices properly... :P
