The buttons at the top of the hud(quit, petition, inventory, etc) Seem to be squished a lot They are lined up in about 5 rows and 2 columns, but take up the space that they would if they were in a horizontal line, so the scaling has died :P Sorry I can\'t be more descriptive. I tried to take a screenshot, but it was just a lot of noise when i pasted it into paint.

I stopped playing PS for a while, but when I came back I had this weird glitch. It seems that the bounding box of the sprite gas made the world behind it completely transparent until the sky. Anyone else here have this problem and if so what would fix it?

Specs:
Win XP Home
Intel P4 1.8ghz
GeForce FX 5500 w/ 66.93 drivers
768 mc pc800 Ram
Latest update of PS

A graphics card won\'t help with your ping, but the game will run much smoother. I ping around 500 and have no lag problems.

There\'s nothign wrong with posting it here. It would actually be helpful to see if that exploit works with things other than skills to help eliminate those bugs too. Due to bugs like this there will also eventually be a server wipe anyways.

That\'s what the server check is for. The client dumps the health it thought it had, and replaces that with what the server sent to it, and if someone could cheat around that then they can also beat the current system which i think is just that without the client-side prediction.

Turn your sound off and set the size to 800x600x32

EDIT: with fullscreen off :D

Currently there is almost a second of lag after you hit the ground before damage is applied. I assume this is because the server must send the damage recieved to the client. My solution for this is  that the damage is originally applied client-side and the server verifies it. This would work by the client applying damage as soon as a colision is detected and showing it in the GUI health bar. The server would act as normal and send the actual amage to the client, ast which point the client would replace the value it had calculated with the one recieved  by the server. The purpose of this server check is that people could modify their clients to calculate falling damage differently to survive higher jumps.

Feedback is appreciated.
