Um..... hello? Ever heard of a COMMON TONGUE! Everyone would be capable of speaking it, though each race in each region will have their own languages that they could also use...... You know, like those foreing cooks in resturaunts do when they serve you rat and laugh at you behind your back ;)

Btw, I\'m really sick of the idiots who go around thrashing ideas because they think it would be \'too hard\' or \'too annoying\' or \'too complicated\' or \'what? I don\'t want to have to actually do anything to be uber strong! you sox!\'
 X(

That\'s also the reason why there\'s no way in hell I\'ll even consider playing WoW........

We could even work it like in FF10, which, though it was amazingly inacurate from a linguistics point of view, still gave a very good impression of the feel of listening to a language you only half understand. And even if people start to figure out the mappings, well, if you sit down and seriously pick at a sentance you heard in a language you only kind of know, you can get more information out of it. I think it has the potential to be really cool.

That works rather well in actually RPgs, but most MMORPG players would be pissed off about it..... Heh, if you can stand muds I\'d seggest looking at how Dae Dal Macabre does it :))

Heh, Dragon Empires is doing something like that :))

But then again they have a few million$ to spend on their dev, lol.

Making your char look stronger/weaker/fatter/thinner as time goes on is a LOT of work, though stat wise it\'s not that hard to do if you have the time.

I\'d probably expect your appearance to be more static and only effected by things like hair dressing, clothing, body paint, and so on.... but they could allways put it in someday

Like if there is no head chopping in the game, do we have to have head chopping in our story?

Ok, see.... IMO you\'ve got something backwards here.... If there\'s headchopping in the story, then you have to put it into the game, not the other way  around :]

Well, I don\'t know about the rest of you, but I\'m going to be good (simply because I can\'t pull off actually being evil:evil: ) but I will of course go about it in a way that people seem to think is evil.......... Just because I\'m a necromancer/fire warlok/Channeler/street fighter (lol)  it doesn\'t make me evil :P

If I see somebody doing something I don\'t like (which must be evil  ;) ) I kill them and take all their gold and shiny things :] Does that make me good? ?(
