thank you for all of your suggestions, but none of them worked!! i am using an xp. any more suggestions?????

i have 2 problems. the first one is my updater does not work and the second is the only server that ever shows up is fragnetics and it says that i do not have the correct version for this server. PLEASE HELP!!!
