Technical Help: Problems BEFORE entering the game / Game works till I update... what's up with that?

Ok, what\'s happening is that I install the game and then run it. Then at the main menu when I try to login it tells me I don\'t have the right version so then I run the updater and get version 1.0.2.1 and then the updater goes a little \"crazy\" and then tells me to restart the updater.

I try the game just to see if I can play with this version and now the main menu doesn\'t even come up. It\'s just says some kind of error and then it closes. So of course I go run the updater again and get version 1.0.2.2 and when it\'s done  it says I have a higher version then the servers.... what is that?

Well, I figured it was normal so I try the game again since I should have the newest version... and again the main menu never even shows up.

I\'m just wondering why the main menu would come up with no updates and then tell me to get the newest version when the newest version just crashes :P
