Thanks for reporting. It\'s a known bug and should be resolved soon (hopefully).

I\'m sorry to say that this is a known bug. Though maybe not in the context of Jayose. It used to be Bevon, who trains when saying Hi to him. It is indeed a bug and not some sort of mini-quest, because it will cost you one PP and standard training cost to say Hi to these folks. As far as I know it is associated with some visible error in the text. Saw that with both Jayose and Bevon. My advise would be to jump straight into the conversation with these characters for now and skip the niceties :).

This bug has been located and fixed. The next client update should no longer have this problem.

I think it\'d be a nice touch if stuff like lol, rotfl would be translated to /me laughs out loud. And /me rolls on the floor laughing. Also *grin* could be /me grins. etc... More like wishlist stuff :)

If your suspicions are correct, you can just delete that particular cpp file plus it\'s header file from the project and build again. Select the Files tab in the project list window (usually located on the right) and find which project contains this particular beast (the build should give you a hint). And just select and hit the delete key.

Well. One of the checked answers isn\'t actually wrong. Then your parents ought to be angry not with you but with that teacher.

Now note that for 7 and 8 all but one of the possibilities is correct!
7: C is correct (as is A and D btw!) Got a check mark.
8: C is correct (as is A and D again!) Got no check mark.

For these two I suspect what happens, is that the teacher copied this from a problem book but the original answer was: Find the factor which is NOT equivalent to the one given (then the correct answers would be B for both). Then there is one unique and correct answer. However the quiz does not indicate this. Teachers fault, and the grading is wrong.

9: A is correct. You picked B. B is wrong because of a sign error. -3*5x=-15x  and + 3*2x = +6x. The sum is -9x not +21x which you get if it were +15x. So this check mark is fine

So as far as I can see you only missed 9. If you think the teacher misgraded, your parents should check this and have a talk with the teacher, if s/he is unfairly trashing your grade level. Their outrage may well be misplaced.

P.S. Do those other exercises yourself. It\'s not hard if you do a few and it\'s good for you! :)

You can also drag the potion from your inventory onto the 2d character drawing in the inventory to use it. No need to drop. Justeclair\'s solutions is more practical in combat, however.

Is it really this bad? Maybe I need to hang on Hydlaa plaza more, but I hardly find all this so disruptive. Even when I ran my guided tour starting at Hydlaa Plaza with a whole bunch of newbies, I didn\'t have a single disruptive experience.

How about removing Shout and Auction. Or rather remove Auction (not very RP anyway) and make Shout decrease with distance? Help and other potential OOC channels are the only way to annoy serious masses (or a bunch of overworked advisors).

Let the GMs do this. I really dislike when a computer program censors people based on filters that can not account for content of communication or context. It just at times is wrong, so let an intelligent person make such decisions. Luckily, there are anti-flooding measures there already.

Ok, I got my game up and running, created a character, and found my way to the sewers. After searching a bit, i found some folks killing rats, but it seemed like each person camped a single spawn and just stayed there, and i couldn\'t find an open one.  Is this how the killing is ATM, and will i just have to wait in line for a spawn point? thanks in advance!

A few things to suggest:

*) Group and share rats and other creatures of the sewers!
*) There are alternative monsters outside the sewers which can be solo\'d or done with small groups for new characters.
*) Enjoy the explorative aspect of the game, do quests, see the amazing sites around Ojaveda and elsewhere.

I feel a clean solution would be a designated OOC channel that people who want to role-play can filter. All other channels are expected to be IC and people can get banned for abusing those channels. This worked swell in an old mud of mine.

OOC channel is great for GM announcement and mass advice too :). Now GMs at times shout OOC just because that\'s the best way of getting newbies to use help instead of shout/auction.

If the problem comes up I tend to use /tell to circumvent it. It\'s not ideal, but I found it to be a better solution than leave a valid question without response.

But my guess is, that it\'s only going to be around for whee long anyway.

If you were a kran you could mine your self, lol... But in some way yes, Krans know better rocks than the others do... even though an Enkidukai can mine much better than a Kran.

I researched about reproduction (saw some strange ones and some made up) but there wasn\'t things considerable to be relevant to this thread

I\'ve posted elsewhere that I think that exactly for this reason Kran should have a natural aversion to mining. Who likes to hack away at their own ,ehm, rock?

They should roll against wisdom to be able to mine :)

The wrong people thing is rare, but strange when it happens. I am not sure if packetloss is the most likely explanation, or if it is, it is on conjuction with the way object identification is handled in general.

An example: I was talking to someone called X. He talks back, conversation over. After a while I get a talk from Y. We talk for a while and Y realizes that he really wanted X.

Now the funny thing about this is, that Y didn\'t even know about me and his data-structures have no reason to be mis-initialized (and wrongly updated due to packet-loss) about me. Of course there is a chance of coincidence and that I was just so many object indicies off to by accident get the tell, but that\'s to be figured out in the code. A good look at object identification should be good. Do object/characters get unique IDs per session? If not, this might well the problem and should be easily fixed.
