a printing press is does not need steam engine or electricty to run... so it\'s possible that a dwarf came up with printing press in Yliakum then we did here. dwarfs as we all know are more technologically inclined then humans that inhibit this Earth.

Yes, and while we\'re at it, why not make some dwarfs run around in a wheel to make the press rotate :P

Hmm, doesn\'t seem to be a bad idea... Dwarfs could have invented a press, why not.

Hmm, I actually doubt they\'ll let you enter anyway, and I don\'t understand much about \"settings\" or whatever you mean.

I\'ve been busy with modeling lately. If you\'d like you might want to check these out.

I\'m busy with a larger project now (a medieval thief), so if someone would have the want to be slighty intrested, I\'ll make some renders right away.

This is getting more a history discussion than a discussion with ideas for the newspaper.  Lets see it this way: PlaneShift is a typical Medieval fantasy world. With swords, plate armour, elves, dwarves (and the less typical Enki\'s and deamons, but whatever).

And yes, no newspapers in the typical Medieval fantasy world. But the devs said they want it to be original, not one of the 1000 typical fantasy worlds. Just look at the clothing. So it also doesn\'t have to be a typical newspaper, but something more... Original. In some way.

And as long as it stays an email or a website, I actually so no need for an endless discussion about Medieval printing.

Just my 2 cents.

Yes, that wouldn\'t be a bad idea, so you don\'t have to search long times for some roleplayers. Although, I must admit I like the tavern well enough to spend all my time there.

I was away for a while... Not that anyone missed me of course :]

Just wanted to add my \"good luck to you\" also. Hopefully it\'ll become a succes. Maybe, if you haven\'t got enough ideas or stuff to tell about, you could make some sort of \"gossipping paper\" of it, you know... \"You saw Lhorkan and last night? Something nice is going on there... And relative. Just a thought.

Have you checked if you still have enough free space left?

This is not runescape. The rats don\'t carry money (sure, trust me :P). You should loot their hide and eye by right-clicking on the corpse and click loot (the sac icon).

When you got somewhat 50 hides and eyes, go to the smith or the herbalist (on top of Kada El\'s, that\'s nearer to the exit of the sewers) or any other npc you can sell to. This will give you 350 tria... Enough to buy you a broadsword and some training. You could also kill 15 rats (105 tria), buy yourself a rock pick and start mining, a boring activity, but safe, and when you trained a bit it might get lucrative.  Armour isn\'t implemented yet, but you can buy shields in Ojaveda.

(littlest ? littlelest ? hummm I will think about that untill someone give me that answer...)

I think the smallest organ is fken\'s brain.. Ok that wasn\'t funny, I know :P

And to be logic, the next release would be MB. (Yes.) Why?

Vertex Blue
Line Blue
Polygon Blue
Mesh Blue

So no further discussions about sapphires, diamonds and any other scientific material.

Another theory, the next release is called \"Smiley Blue\". Why? :):)):D:P:O:]

I really wouldn\'t know... Just in case you didn\'t knew, here are the minum requirements:

    * Windows 98, ME, 2000 or XP, Mac OS X 10.2.6, Linux, FreeBSD or Solaris
    * GeForce 2 or higher 3D graphics card
    * 1 Ghz CPU
    * 512 MB RAM
    * 1 GB free disk space
    * 56k modem Internet connection

Try to check them out... maybe you find the problem here.

If you really don\'t know, go to start -> run -> enter \"dxdiag\".

Another noob... :P One of the main things in Planeshift now is exploration... There\'s no fun at all being said what to do. Be patient, keep searching. If you really can\'t find it, ask it in-game, not on the forums.

Enjoy your stay :]

Have you ever thought that there might be others with this problem? To get to the point, there are at least two other threads on this. Please use the button, or at least scroll down and see that there are already other threads with even nearly the same title.

And one question mark is enough, really.

And you truly should this out ;)

The noobness has conquered the world once again this day :(

I\'m not trying to sound rude, but you\'ll surely get your attention anyway, you will only make yourself sound noob-ish. And you should better spend those caps in your posts. I.e.: \"The caps are simply to get attention. Trust me, this isn\'t the first MMORPG I\'ve played with forums.\"

Enjoy your stay :]

Try the I-am-not-a-noob race.

That is, read the race description and choose for yourself. Where\'s the fun making others decide for you anyway :]

And since you can\'t be a merchant or a politic yet, don\'t bother asking. ;)
