Hi, Karosh_Steinkatz

I repeated everything as above mentioned, with the same effect.
As i read in this forum, there are problems with the linux-version of PS.
Now i wait until these problems are solved.
Thanks for your help.

seems that \"update_source\" killed some important files like updater and client.

Hmmmm ok, let\'s try this: go to your CS dir, do a \'jam clean\', run configure and then \'jam -a\'.

Yes.. yes.. it worked.
Now i am able to start the client.
Next problem :-)
Even  though i started the updater, the client responds with :
you are not running the correct version of Planeshift for this server.... hmm...

but i am very happy at least to see the login window :-)

No :-(

If not, run jam in the CS dir again to see why it failed to build.

I did, but couldn?t see any error messages, but \"gl3d.so\" was not listed.
Last message was \"...updated 51 targets...\"

hi,

yesterday i installed the linux-version of planeshift on my suse9.2 with nvidia geforce4 mx440.
The setup went fine, but when i want to start with \"./client\" it says \"No 3d driver (iGraphics3D) plugin!\"
3d is enabled, i tested it with a 3d- racing simulation.

thanks for help

-edit:
./updater -auto replies:
WARNING: could not load plugin \'crystalspace.kernel.vfs\'
ERROR: csInitializer::SetupConfigManager failed!
Is your CRYSTAL environment variable set?

but echo $CRYSTAL replies:
/usr/local/bin/planeshift/planeshift/
