Updater is working fine...it\'s just the Setup...

well, i think you\'ve said it all, concerning weapon usage  :D


in game, i like to use ranged weapons and complement it with a close ranged secondary weapon (dagger or short sword)

my point is accuracy (in ranged weapons)... what should i train to increase my accuracy???

in RL i can think of several exercises that can increase a one\'s accuracy, but ingame it\'s different. What stat should i try to pump? Agillity?

that\'s the kind of info players should know....

ok, thats simple with something like a sword...

what about a bow?
i really don\'t know what can increase damage? i don\'t think strenght is that essential...

the more you trained \"ranged weapons\" the more info you should have on how to increase the damage given by that kind of weapons... :P

i think that all monsters should be lootable, but you shouldn\'t be able to sell all items (to NPC\'s that is...you sould be able to sell everything to other players...an open market :P).
they could \"drop\" items that could only be used to forge things and create other items, and that you could trade with other players.


i think with other \"jobs\" people won\'t give too much attention to the monsters...

hell...

in real life if you research on somethig you know how it works (it could be linked to your skill level, the higher the more info you have)...

if you train agillity you know you will be better at close range combat, it\'s common sense... but since it\'s made by other people, why souldn\'t it be available?


if you have a higher \"intelligence\" skill you should be better with things like alchimy, herbal and \"the ways\", and every body knows it... in RL...
but the skills or the stats sould mention it....


and i think it would be nice if you \"felt stronger\" instead of having 70->71 in the \"strenght\" skill :P

is it just me, or there isn?t any sunset...

isn\'t our world \"in a gigantic cave\" or something? isn\'t the light from the \"crystal\"? at least i think i read this somewhere...

i think there could be small variations in light, but to simmulate a sunset and night inside a cave just doesn\'t seem right :P  ;)

can you use the same first name with different chars? why not if they are all from the same acount????

people know me as Pi in the game...if i want to start all over again, people should already be able to recognize you...and it wouldn\'t mess up tell... you can only have a char from the same acount online :P

the aura was an example...it doesn\'t need to be an aura...
for miners it could be some sort of glow, like a shiny thing in the middle of the rock or earth...

of course it\'s knowledge...didn\'t you see the topics name???

a lot of people in RL knows that kind of things by intuition, by seeing in the current situation already seen paterns... did you think i was talking in some psychic way???? of course it\'s knowledge...

but in PS, you can\'t rely on smell, sound and other senses to create be able to undestand this kind of things... everything has to be visual...

so, you have to give a visual sign to the people that are playing....


this is just my idea, don\'t make other people idiots by just giving an idea... i\'m terriblie sorry if my lack of sense doesn\'t even deserve your comment (about the fisherman)...

i still think it would be interresting to have this implemented...

in RL people have a certain 6th sense when it comes to things that they know really well...

if a Miner walks by a pile of earth, he can tell if that kind of soil is rich or not in gold/silver/iron...

a worrior can \"sense\" danger by being close to other warriors/monsters...

a fisherman can tell if he is going to catcth fish by looking at the river...


that is experience...and i have a thought of how it could be achieved in PS.


auras...i know...it seems like crap :P

but, if you have a lot of mining skill, you should be able to better see if that soil is of any good to be mined (mining skill also increases your ability to mine, of course), for that i suggest for example a yellow (or any other colour) aura on \"good\" soil. This aura would be undistinguishable if you were a lvl 2 or 3 miner, but you would be able to notice it if you were a lvl 15-20... (at 1000 you would be blind from the glow  :P)

worriors could have a sense that showed danger, like spiderman\'s spidersign (or something) a red aura in from the location of the danger...

other kind of skills could have another kind of \"aura\"


i think it would be a kind of reward for you investing in a skill....  :]

I would like to see it written somewhere :P

it could be in the players guide or in the in-game stats description.

if i use a sword, what and how do \"strenght\" and \"sword skill\" influence my skill with a sword...

in ranged weapons (just an example) do \"agillity\" and \"range\" contribute to accuracy??? how?




weapons and other objects should reference it also...you should be able to distinguish a weapon\'s charactheristics by other mean that it\'s appearance/name :P

i think that in this kind of game, graphics aren\'t the most important...but hei! those ones are a joy to my eyes  :D  8)


if we could have chars like that, fine. if we don\'t, we aren\'t going to miss it that much :P
