Technical Help: Problems BEFORE entering the game /
« on: January 20, 2005, 04:15:27 pm »
How do you know that the updater is not working?  I ran it several times this morning and it appeared to function as it always has.  Maybe it never has functioned properly and I just don\'t know it!

Anyway, I cannot login as well.  First time this has happened to me.

Newbie Help (Start Here) / No Account found with that name

There it is!

When I try to log into the game, I get the message, \"No Account found with that name\".

I have tried changing account and password but things just are getting confusing.

I conclude that the game login is not the same as the forum login.

I set up an account with real name and email.

What Account and Password am I supposed to use?

Thank you.

Ok, I was having the same trouble as you guys, it\'s apparently not the Resource folder that you should put in /usr/local/lib, but the file \"libcal3d.10.dylib\" inside the Resource folder.

To get to the /usr/local/lib, go to the Finder, and under go select \"Go to folder...\", then type in \"/usr/local/lib\".  You might have to type in \"/usr/local\" and then create a \"lib\" folder like I did (which worked), or you might be able to just dump it in the \"lib\" file in /usr (just speculating, I haven\'t tried it yet).

Let me know if you all still are having trouble, doing this I managed to get the game up and running.

Almond,

OK, I used the finder, typed in /usr/local.  Now, what \"lib\" folder did you create?  I need to be led further.
