Newbie Help (Start Here) / Getting weapons/armor (gear) and money..?

Hello guys,
I\'m a bit stuck with this one. I\'m completely new to PlaneShift and I like it. But I think things would be easier if I know how to get my hands on some gear weapons, armor) and (important as well) money.
i\'ve already made my first kill (yup, a rat and a 2nd one got me
) but didn\'t get any money out of that one...
