which skills (like cooking, alchemy etc) are implemented, and how they work (except for the weapon-skills, which are quite clear)

I think it should be possible to spot minable places (rock) If you have equipped a pickaxe the pointer should turn into a pickaxe over those places. with rightclick you can choose between mine and prospect.
Minable places not contains ore for certain. (thats what prospect is for) This would also solve the problem how to put the mining in the GUI.

You have to say something to him (whatever)
Like written  here:

The Devs wont implement a gui for it. (Some textadventure fanatics)

The updater try to access a file (Libcurl.dll) which is used.
updater.exe --auto don\'t help.

Don\'t be too optimistic. Technically English is one of the easier languages, but you can say the same thing on tons of ways.

Ex: the Blacksmith/Gold Ore quest:
- Here is your ore.
- Is this enough ore ?
- I give you the ore.
- I have it.
- I mined it.

Those 5 sentences (I skipped variations of them by different wording) are completely different, in sense and wording, but all leads to the same: giving the ore to the smith. (If I thought more than a single minute over it, I\'m sure I easyly could create 10-12 of them, without duplicates in the sense. - And this is just a cheap give-ore-to-smith-task.)

The fast-click-through-problem can be reduced a lot if you don\'t give the reader the 50 pages epic story with a yes/no at the end, but a way to choose details to read by itself. Whith a good choose on the detail hirarchy the user didn\'t get bored on details which aren\'t interesting (to the user).

Greetings

After I updated some minutes ago the updater don\'t start anymore. (Windows) when I launch it just the console comes up, and go imidiately. (launched from the regular console there ist no output.
Code: [Select]
D:\\Spiele\\PlaneShift Crystal Blue>updater.exe

D:\\Spiele\\PlaneShift Crystal Blue>

thats all)

If I try to launch Planeshift (which hasn\'t updated, beacuse the updater just updeted itself into nirwana) this happens
Code: [Select]
D:\\Spiele\\PlaneShift Crystal Blue>psclient.exe
crystalspace.maploader: Could not get sound driver
crystalspace.maploader: Could not get model converter
crystalspace.maploader: Could not get model crossbuilder

D:\\Spiele\\PlaneShift Crystal Blue>

same problem here (on Windows)  the updater downloads itself, but don\'t update itself.
It also uncompressed the new files, but don\'t replaced the files :(
