I\'ve tried everything, that is, I don\'t even run a firewall, and I\'ve opened the ports on my router. I also disabled my anti virus system.

And I know it \'Should work\', but it doesn\'t....

I think this is a bug/error that needs to be given more attention as I\'ve noticed a lot of people have it. Retrying to login doesn\'t seem to have any effect either

Thanks for the replies, nice to know I\'m not the only one with that message, but I recently made another discovery, when I quickly retry logging in after I quit because that message of \"Waiting on server data\" is everlasting, it says that account is already login, please try again in 30 seconds.

I really don\'t understand what it all means, and so far I\'ve retried dozens of times, and I get the same message over and over. It just frustrates me that it\'s just that little error that\'s keeping me from playing the game - more help is greatly appreciated!!

EDIT: I only ever try logging in when I get a ping..

Another Note:

I just ran the program, and the same thing happened, so I closed it. Then I reran the program again straight away and when I tried to connect to knaax it said \"User already logged in, if you were disconnected please wait 30 seconds\". Does that mean I am connected to the server? I see my ping and all in the main screen. It just.. doesn\'t do anything on character creation.... could it be my account?

What do you mean by locked up? The game doesn\'t freeze, there\'s even a clicking sound from the game itself when I click on \'create new character\'. And where am I supposed to edit this program and \'run the game with the parameter \"--console\"\' ?

I\'ve just downloaded, and fully updated Plane Shift, I have a registered account, and run a fast connection on a computer that should be able to run this program easily.

I enter my Email address and password for my account, then enter the Knaax server.

That takes me to a screen where there is a quit button, 4 slots of which the top one says \"Create new character\". But at the top it says \"waiting on server data\". I retried leaving it there for 20 minutes or more, and I can\'t click on the create new character. It just stays like that forever. It\'s really frustrating... please help asap. (Greatly appreciated)
