Technical Help: Problems BEFORE entering the game / server logging in problem

hi to everybody
1st time connecting to fragnetics to play,
I downloaded the latest windows client (3.006)
but the connection is rejected telling me that my client version is incorrect for that server
is there a newer version?
or am i doing something wrong?
