Technical Help: Problems BEFORE entering the game / Mac OS X 10.3.6 problem

I ran the updater and updated the game, now when I try and launch the game it just closes. It opens for a few moments and shows me the beging screen, then pauses, then just closes. If someone could help me out, that would be awesome.
