Technical Help: Problems BEFORE entering the game / update wont work...

i looked at the other threads and this is not up... i try to update my game and right when it gives the direction i click on then an errpr comes up. this application failed to start because MSVCP71D.dll was mnot found. reinstalling the application may fix this problem. please help!
