After getting all cvs-source (in case of an old portage-package in gentoo, i have to go this way), compiling it, updating it and starting it, i got some problem...

On my Machine (AMD Athlon XP 2.400+, 1GB DDRAM, Radeon 9500 Pro) i only get 6-10 Fps on 1024x768.

UT2004, WoW, HL2 etc. are running extremly smooth under cedega or if a linux-versioin is available, extremly fast.

Why is Planeshift so extremly slow on my machine? I think this hardware is fast enough for this game.

The other problem i got is with the windows-version. After getting this slow performance under linux, i switched to my other machine. This is an AMD Athlon XP 1.600+, 384 MB DDRAM, Geforce2MX. On this machine i got 16 - 24 Fps which is very fast for this old graphic-hardware.

But the geforce2-mx series got an small problem with the gamma-values. Most games i know give you the possibility to increase this value. After asking in the help-channel ingame, the only hint i got is to adjust my monitor. Sorry guys, this monitor is on his limits.

Please think about this small but very usefull gammachannel feature.

Your game looks good to me and it\'s a small but good counterweight to WoW. Keep on going with it!
