how do i get connected to the correct server? i downloaded yesterday is it already connected correctly?

thx now i have one other question as you can probly see im a newbie so i need to know what to fight around level one and if anyonbe can help me find a map to find these creatures

there is a problem with sompthing whenever i try to get on the servers and it said that each one failed is the servers down or do i need to download sompthing else?
