Newbie Help (Start Here) / Uber Rats

Yeah, I got my but kicked all too many times by these uber rats and I know I\'m playing a lv 1 character but come on Uber Rats. Ok maybe If I just stand there and let them chew on my legs and feet they could do some serious damage but it\'s a frickin rat you should be able to step on the thing and kill it.
Does one of the dev\'s a deep laden fear of Rats?
Is this his rat nightmare?
With the damage that these uber rats are throwing out by comparison they should be three feet tall with six inch fangs.
It\'s kinda like the bunny rabbit in Monty Pythons Quest for the Holy Grail.

Just a question....
Has there been any though to the possibility of some type of transportation as the map expands to many zones other than shoe leather?
I for one would think it would be a cool Idea, an objective to shoot for.
5000 tria for a horse?

I\'d love to go the Smith route as long as it doesn\'t take a year to produce a basic sword.

Assuming the AK47 isn\'t an option..... Guess thats a given but man, it would be funny for a day or so.
