« on: October 12, 2006, 01:11:11 am »
system specs
win xp home
gforce fx 5500 256mg agp driver version 9.1.4.7
amd 3000+
1gig ram
before and after i enter world all my text area looks like a bad tye dye job and cant read it. i have tryed updating my drivers to the latest driver, have ran the updater and have even done this known fix
7. GeForce draw problems:
If your GeForce graphics card is giving you weird text corruption issues, try this:
Edit the file data/config/r3dopengl.cfg with and add these lines:
Video.OpenGL.UseExtension.GL_ARB_texture_rectangle = false
Video.OpenGL.UseExtension.GL_NV_texture_rectangle = false
still have the problem
*edit*
went into the r3dopengl.cfg and have fixed my inventory and ingame chat part by changing
Video.OpenGL.ForcePrecompressedDXTUpload = false to
Video.OpenGL.ForcePrecompressedDXTUpload = true
just the log in screen is still a bad tye dye job now
