Technical Help: IN GAME bugs (after loading world) /

I\'m having problems just trying to get a character created and walking around in the world before I get a fatal crash back to desktop.

Yeah I\'m getting the same problems, was able to create 2 characters, first one kept manageing on dying even though I just joined the server, managed to fall in the death realm and die there as well too :\\
Made another one and was able to fill out the entire background, got on server, open skills tab crash....
Looked at my vid card drivers, have the latest ones, bare min running in sys tray.

Server went dead again just as I was still making my first character.

not to derail the thread but wasn\'t there an alpha release sometime last year that didn\'t have much to do in the game but collect crystals?

I\'m also a new player looking to join in for the first time. I will be bringing along not only my wife, but also a friend from Holland, another friend from New York and possibly his brother from Canada.
Taking a break from wearing spandex in City of Heroes. I have been readin quite a lot here and in the manual and semms like a great place to have fun.
