Can one of the devs please post to tell how the update is going. Are there any problems or is it going smoothly?

PICO, VIM, and EMACS all have their strong points. PICO is the simplest of the three in my opinion. EMACS is definitely the most functional. I once wrote, compiled, and ran a simple C program using EMACS and the GCC compiler, and that\'s an accomplishment for me, since I don\'t know UNIX!

VIM has a very nice tutorial, which you can access by executing the \"vimtutor\" command (without the quotes).

An update? NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOoooooooooooooooooo...!

Off topic for a second: I recently got the two abandonware Monkey Island games from the Macintosh Garden. Did you know that ScummVM (http://scummvm.org/) can play Scumm games (like the first two Monkey Islands) in OS X?

Setting it from windowed to full screen won\'t change the size of the window; I would increase the resolution. (You can do that in the \"planeshift.cfg\" file too.)

Oops, I lied. The new icon is available now!

http://www.geocities.com/fetsmacgames/othersites/planeshift/psiconpack.zip

I made it easier to apply the icon to the psclient. Everything you need is in the ZIP archive. I also put the ICNS file in it, once again so that the developers can use my icon as the default PlaneShift icon.

If you are a PlaneShift developer and want to use this icon, please do not give me credit (in the credits, read me, whatever). Just the fact that I know that I made the icon is good enough credit for me! (If you even use the icon, that is.)

I made that icon in about five minutes just because I really hated staring at the default application icon. I\'ll probably make a better one with a better shadow. It\'ll be pretty easy to do, since all I have to do is make a septagonal mask for the crystal, then give it a drop shadow.

Expect a new version in a day or two!

The hack works 100% for me. I went to every place where I\'ve experienced that glitch and it doesn\'t do it anymore. Now I can explore the arena without hitting a wall and not knowing it!

Thank you!!!

I just started 3D modeling. Not doing very well. ;-)

I have had Blender forever. I\'ve tried using it, but its interface is hard to get used to, though it\'s brilliant. I\'m gonna get Wings3D and see if it makes a good learning program. I see it has tutorials on the site.

Is Cal3d for Mac?

So, is the festival in about 11 hours?

If not, when will it take place in Central(USA) time?
