Today an updated binary of the updater appeared on http://www.mortalsaviour.de/. I untarred it to my Planeshift directory, overwriting the original updater binaries. Next time I ran the updater, everything worked! In my experience, I had to run the updater twice in a row to get all the updates, but now I can connect to Planeshift servers!

I\'ve been trying to track down the solution to this one for a while now, with no luck so far. I\'ve searched the forums in depth, followed endless links, and read every FAQ I could find. So, yes, I\'ve RTFM, so if the answer is stupid please forgive me.

I\'ve downloaded and installed the PlaneShift_CBV0.3.007-1.x86.run binary, which is the latest I could locate. Everything went smoothly, ./\'ed the updater, which seemed to successfully update the game to 0.3.008, and ran pssetup. When I try and access a game server however, I get the message \"You are not running the correct version of Planeshift for this server\". When I try and run the updater again, I get this message:
Code: [Select]
$ ./updater --auto

: Checking for updated binaries
: Done, cleaning up

I\'ve heard it mentioned that most people who experience problems like mine either don\'t have curl or are using an outdated updater. I downloaded the updater from http://www.mortalsaviour.de/ and overwrote my original updater binaries, but still get the same results. Does anybody have any input on the situation?
