hey, im new... and i was just wondering why pick axes dont appear as weapons, they have no effect whatsoever on my attacks.  why?  techinically if i hit a one eyed rat with a pick axe rather than my flesh n bone fists, i will do more dmg... and i spent 100 gold for that duality.  But, of course, being a noob, it didnt help.  For one, i dont have the skill enough to mine (im so glad im good at repairing weapons when I DONT HAVE ANY) and two... my pick axe actually moves at the same velocity and has the same malleability of my fists.  I know im a stonebreaker or whatever, but hell... if my fists are as strong as an axe and i only do 2 dmg... well then the weapons are in need of a good buff, or the enemies of a nerf.  whatever, sorry if this angers the forum gods, but its just an idea i found semi helpful.
