I really doubt Phinehas was apologizing to you in this post. That sorry was part of the "No. You must die!" joke thing. I believe the true nature of that post was to make you feel how little he cares about _your_ opinion. That's Phin.

Seeing other posts he made, I figured that out quite easily, was just playing allong.

What is DC's current status? I mean, short term goals, mid term goals, long term goals, activeness, diplomacy, etc. Haven't had the chance to ask you guys ingame. Last time I saw one of you there he gritted his teeth and questioned my presence amidst his friends.

Seems my fellow Guild members are already taking care of your questions.

@Phinehas: Very well, appolgies accepted.

@Kyzer: Thanks Ky, I just hope we can put an end to this constant bickering, it has no point what so ever.

Or what about this:

We simply respect that we have different opinions. For no matter how long and throughly we discuss this matter, I don't see how it's ever going to make a difference. You'll just stick with your opinion and we'll stick with ours. There's simply no point in argueing about it. Now, I respect the fact that you have a different perspective than I do; and I respect that you have an opinion. However that does not mean that I agree with you. Can't we just simply agree to disagree and leave it at that?

*Nathaluth smiles.

May I then ask you to be so kind as to sum up all the small matters which combined are a large enough "thing" which will eventually  lead to the disappearance of the Dragon Council, which has already been around for more than one year and a half? Please. For I believe it might clearify matters, at the very least it would clear things up for me.

Development Deliberation / Re: Groffeltoe - the first minigame

We started of with an A and the remove rules. However it never came to an end no matter how we tried it, made obvious loses just to see if we could resolve the game with a few openings again. But that didn't work, we just kept on going and going and going et cetera, et cetera. We did very much enjoy it at first though after about an hour playing still playing the same match with seemingly no way of ending it in anyones favour it got a bit boring really. We ended up in the same situtions several times. That's when I suggest playing it slightly different, instead of removing the pieces they change colour, black to white or white to black depending on the one who captures it. This leaves a limited number of moves, as many moves as there are squares. We found this variant more enjoyable than the other, seeing you actually got to finish a match.

Concering the A, B and C variants. As I said we started out with an A, which we found a good way to start and learn the basics. After that we tried out the C variant a couple of times. All very enjoyable, a great addition, really. You really start to learn to think ahead better after a couple of matches. Personally I liked C the most because you have more options, but A is definatly the best way to start. We haven't had the chance to try out the B variant though... Seeing we did want to give others the chance to play. We taught them our "change colour rules" and the basic rules described in your original post, and they all seemed to enjoy it very much indeed. The variants are great way to add variaty, so those are a good part of the game. Though as I said before not a fan of the "remove rules", though replace those with "change colour rules" and you've got yourself a thouroughly enjoyable minigame. So thank you and congratulations.

 :)

I've played Groffel's Toe a couple of times now. But with slightly different rules that you stated, Kerol. Instead of removing the captured pieces, the pieces when captured are changed into the colour of the one who captured it. This speeds the game up a bit. But it's stilll great fun! May I say that this is a most enjoyable addition.

However, with the original rules you stated, I tried a match with a friend of mine and after an hour and a half we just called it a draw. We could have gone on till the end of time.

Edit - Corrected spelling error.

Ave! We\'ll, seeing you\'re new to the game, I\'d say the best place for you to look for enemies would have to be the sewers. Where you could find and then try to fight some rats.

There are many other places where enemies lurk, but before you search for them, you wouldn\'t be able to handle those I reckon, you\'ll first have to increase your fighting abilities.

My personal favorite from some General (name/battle forgotten):
\"Ha! They couldn\'t hit an elephant at thi-....\"

That would be General John Sedgwick.

Oh, and that about the SG-1, saw that one today, great episode.  :)

My own contrabution:
\"Acta est fabula, plaudite!\" - The play is over, applaud! (Said to have been emperor Augustus\' last words.)

\"Et tu, Brute?\" - You too, Brutus / \"Kai su, teknon?\" (Nota Bene: should be writen in Greek letters) - You too, son? (Said to have beenCaesar\'s last words)

Click? ... This doesn\'t come with ammo?

Dammit, this thing won\'t die!

Oops.

So what?

Oh please, let me show you how it\'s done.

Don\'t be silly. If this was really the ship\'s \"Self-Destruct Button\", do you think they\'d leave it lying around where anyone could press it?

But that\'s a bit long so most just call me: Nath (NA-th); and on some occasions Latin Lover, but, well, that happens a great deal less.

Personnally I think there\'s a difference between \"not caring\" and \"condoning\". When it comes to this subject I chose the former.

Well, for those who care about that list, my Dual Points have been brought down to 0 ; -0,02 to be precise. So I should be of that list the next time it\'s updated.

Well, so why did you duell then? Just to get on the list? If so, shame over you.

Anyways many people (like me, for example) don\'t even care about those lists, and those who do shouldn\'t do either. The (IMHO) only useful purpose of this page is to see who is online at the moment. Not more.

Well, yeah... Hence the \"embarrising\" part... Shame and embarrisment go allong quite well, should you not know... (There wasn\'t any actual dualling though.... And it was all completely out of character).
The \"plan\", which quite frankly cannot be called well-thought-out I admit, went somewhat wrong, those points I have at the moment should have already been long gone.

Further more as I clearly stated, those lists don\'t mean a thing to be either, that, however doesn\'t mean one can\'t have a little fun with them... Didn\'t see the harm of doing it at the time, simply because these list can be so easily manipulated that I didn\'t see that any one would hold any value to them.
Seeing that this, for some, does not seem to be the case, I\'ll be off that list in no time from now at all, and my sincere appologies to those who do care about that list.

Ehm, somewhat embarrising to admit, but no... You see that little point increasement was completely out of character. Normally I hardly ever fight duals (never say never ;) ). There\'s not much point for a scientist to be dualling, now is there? ^^
Actually I thought no one would notice if I just went on top of that list for just a little while and then dissapeared again, ehm, you see, the ehh, disappearing part, I haven\'t quite gotten round to that yet, but don\'t worry I will soon. And I assure you I will not do such a thing again, didn\'t know it would cause any trouble, if so, I wouldn\'t have done it in the first place.

Post Scriptum. @Karyuu. Alright I know the following doesn\'t really belong in this place of the Forums, hence it\'s in the \"Post Scriptum\"-part of this message. I\'m putting it as add to this message because alone it would be spam-ish, seeing it would be short, rather pointless seeing you probably already know this (hardly ever(/never) use certain either, only certainty is a high probability ;) ), don\'t think it would be annoying though seeing I wouldn\'t consider the finding positive of something and then telling it annoying, it would most defininate be a message though. So part spam, part not spam, spam-ish.
Anyway to the point (I get carried away like this quite allot...):
Your website is absolutly fantastic, splendid art and writing as well as most amusing art and writing; (this includes the description you gave to your art works and the \"essence of me\"-part, just great. From what I\'ve seen you\'ve got a gift for that sort a thing ut humiliter opinor, and I haven\'t even seen much , hope you don\'t mind me saying so. ^^).

Post Post Scriptum. I hope the first non-post scriptum part which does belong here balances the not belonging post sciptum part. :)
