Someone had asked a few times about sample costs to train...

For my char:
Sword must be trained 4 times = 168 tria = 24 rats
STR must be trained 16 times = 672 tria = 96 rats
Light Shield must be trained 6 times = 252 tria = 36 rats
Crystal Way must be trained 8 times = 336 tria = 48 rats

Hope this is helpful.

Running the Updater is what did this.

I am current.

I also have the \"15 seconds per frame\" issue.

Patience.  It will eventually do what you tell it to do, you just have to wait 15 seconds between all clicks.

In Spells/Combine woindow, I have no buttons.  I DO get mouseover tooltips when over where they should appear, but no buttons.  Also, \"Look\" button disappears disappears in Inventory window.  The buttons ARE useable... I can click where they should appear and they do work.

Finally, Stance buttons are not viewable, and as you know, when you do try to clcik, they still only work for Normal stance.

THen changed to 32bit, and still worked.  Then started this mrning and same thing happened, so back to 16bit.

This was working fine last night before I updated, and was broken after the update.  Were any graphics-related updates made?

After the Update on Saturday night, I logged in, but it opened to a practical Screen shot.  One frame about evey 7 or 8 seconds.  My tail wasn\'t even moving.  The interface appeared to be completly unresponsive, but it proved to be just the same incredibly slow movement.

I notive that \"Loading screens\" all look normal up to the one that loads the area in which I am trying to play, and that one, instead of progress bar moving across screen as objects are loaded, it goes from 0 to 100% in a flash.

Also, long after I close the game, I still have \"PSClient.exe\" in my task list, last time holding onto 333MBytes RAM.

Thank you.

PSCLient.exe remains in my task list even hours after I shut down the game, using anywhere from 48MBytes to 150MBytes.

This also seems to cause IE to crash from time to time.

When playing last night, I was grouped with another player.  When we were attacking the same mob, and one of us killed the mob, the other still had \"combat music\" playing, and the AI thought that they were still fighting, but couldn\'t find the target.

Also, we did not share exp when the mob died.  If her hit killed, she got all exp, if mine, I did.

Development Deliberation / Installers...

I use InnoSetup.

I\'ve heard of NSIS, but never used it.  I\'ve had a GREAT experience with Inno.  Easy to use, free for commercial or personal, you can include downloadable updates, and you can (though not required) use PASCAL to code pretty-much whatever you like, IF you feel like coding.

The documentation is good, and community is very supportive.

In mine, I use it to install my app, plus build and populate a SQL Database and Web Application with virtual directories.

Technical Help: IN GAME bugs (after loading world) / Memory Issue...

I did a very small amount of testing:

I clicked to launch the game, but did not log in.  On starting, the game occupied 139,584K.  After 10 minutes of sitting idle, it was 139,620K.  Then I CLOSED it (clicked Quit).  PSClient.exe was still listed in Task Manager, although the game window closed.  It was still using 47,056K.  After another 10 minutes, it was still loaded, and still using 47,056K.

To Summarize:

Load: 139,584K
Idle: 139,620
Post Quit: 47,056K

I\'m using:
WinXP Pro SP2
768M RAM
Intel Graphics

Hope this is helpful.

Didn\'t MySQL 5\'s latest beta include Trigger and Stored Procedure functionality for the first time?  Trigger remains a word that is often enough a reserved word (in lots of DBMS) to stay away from it anyway.

Development Deliberation / Installer Builder Selection...

There are Free, Open Source installer builders out there that do an amazing job, compress well, and are simple to use.  Have you guys looked at any?  I\'m using one very successfully at work, and have been very impressed by it.

Technical Help: IN GAME bugs (after loading world) / Client Hangs...

Long after I shut down the game, I can still see PSClient.exe running in the Task Manager, sucking up 178MB (or so).

Any idea what\'s going on with that?

Thank you.
