Have you read the first sticky yet?

The links in the sticky work, I\'ve used all of them.

What browser are you using?
Are you getting any error messages when you try to download a file?

Edit: Well, apparently Chaos\'s site is down.  Unfortunately I don\'t have a place I can throw the files up.

Two questions just to make sure you didn\'t miss them:

1) Did you replace the vfs.cfg file with the one in the first post?
1.a) If you have, has the updater been run since you did that/

2) Are you trying to start psclient through the terminal?

3) Are there any error messages in the Console application?

Okay, so I can\'t count.

Edit: This is to santagonewrong.  I didn\'t see the two post on this page.

I haven\'t tried it but I would guess the answer is no.  It doesn\'t hurt anything to have it open.

You can cd into the finder viewable folder and then ./psclient.app/Contents/MacOS/psclient.

Also, have you replaced the vfs.cfg file yet?  I just did that and it opened from the finder fine.

Sorry, I missed you saying that you tried using the terminal.

That\'s the messsage that shows up when you try running psclient from outside the folder that it\'s in.  Have you tried using the cd command to change to that directory?

You need to open it from the command line.  There\'s a link to a file in that same stickey that will do it for you.  At least there used to be.

I\'ve had it crash a  couple times when entering buildings.  Once was a bus error and once was a segmentation fault.  Everything was updated except the vfg file.  Either tonight or some time tomorrow I\'ll update that and see if I can duplicate the problem.

That message means that the version of the application on your computer doesn\'t match the version of the application that the server is running.  Kind of like how car manufacturers sometimes change parts in their cars so I can\'t just take parts of my old \'89 Cavalier and put them in a new one.

To fix it you run the updater.

If you hold the appley key, the shift key and the \"a\" key at the same time the Applications folder will open.  From there to go the utilities folder and then terminal.

Turn off Obj-Tabs in Adblock.  That space is only there to show the tab.

That was yesterday but we haven\'t heard anything yet.  dfryer may have gotten busy and didn\'t get a chance to get to it.  He\'s volunteering his time so we can\'t beat on him too bad.

Technically \"one\" is the word you\'re looking for but no one uses it like that and it really sounds stupid.  In French (if I remember correctly) they use their work for one in cases where gender isn\'t known or doesn\'t matter.

Come on now.  What\'s more important, his grades or my ability to play PlaneShift.  I think we all know the answer to that one.
