Don\'t forget Ursula K LeGuine\'s Earthsea trilogy and its\' sequel.

Edit: You have to call Tehana\'s Story a sequel to trilogy as it was written 15 to 20 years later than the others in her mature style and shows her strong feminist beliefs. Fortunately it does not suffer from this, unlike most of her modern work.

I have nothing against Feminist scifi and fantasy, I just think in a lot of cases the politics gets in the way of the story - instead of driving it, or being the background to it.

What you have to remember abiout the Harry Potter books is that they are Billy Bunter/Enid Bylton boarding school stories with magic thrown in. Nothing more, nothing less. JK Rowling basically said so herself.

I\'m surprised that no-one has mentioned Andre Nortons\' Witchworld series. Good, enjoyable light reads.

Hi , i\'ve also noticed 2 places in the arena with possible clipping problems. Unfurtunately i\'m not quite sure where they are in there :(

I did notice that in one case  i fell through the wall then i walked into a corner at 45 degrees and the other when I walked into the join between 2 textures at 45 degrees to the wall.

There were no texture glitches in either place.

Sorry can\'t be of more help.

I\'ll try and repeat it and post more details.

Later:

I\'ve checked the arena again

The first area  is in the 2nd corridor to the left  off the main corridor - the first archway in it. it\'s leads to one of the rooms with those bugs- clackers I think.

I didnt manage to fall all the way to the death realm ;) but I did get stuck in the wall  to the right of the arch and had to use \'/unstick\' .

The other area was outside where the tunnel enters the clearing, but i couldn\'t reproduce the error :(
