Ill try my best, the military here is pretty stupid (at least its people). But its a law that every adult must go to military at some point for soldier training... cant do anything about it.

Well I never really liked to create realistic stuff, all my models are cartoony or have a shiny new look on them :) . I paint my textures in photoshop from scratch, and making realistic ones with the brush tool is not really easy.

Unfortunately I doubt I will make any new models any time soon since I have to go to army for 3 months in 2 weeks, and have some projects I need to finish untill then. I\'ll be checking the forums, so if the devs want to use the models (this and the bowl in the challenge topic) I\'ll PM them a link.

 Cheers.

If you want someone to make these into 3d models for ingame, it would really help if you would draw each piece of armor in top , right and front perspectives so your images can be used as refference. That would also ensure that the model would actually look like the drawings you imagine, cause making a model without refference is always resulted totally different from what you intended, talking from 1st hand experience :P . These are really nice scetches, and you got sense of style, although I doubt some of those pieces od armor can be done keping face count low and looking nice because of their many parts/plates.

The \"polys\" term is kinda wrong actually, because polygons can be made out of many faces. A programmer I work with told me that its confusing to call the triangles/faces polygons, so I never done from that time.

The triangle(face) count is on the image just below the axe.

Hello, my name is Nick Larin, and my character ingame is Brickman Boulderhead (its a good name amongst stonebreakers!).

Its only one model for now, but since I love equipment, (especially when my character wears it :) ) Im planning to make more.

If the devs are interested in them, then pm me and I\'ll give you a link for download, sorry but I cant host files in public.

 Heres the 1st weapon:

I didnt have time to think of a name for it, so I named it \"Thrustaxe\", if you have better ideas feel free to suggest a name.

In medieval times they couldnt make thin wooden bowls, cause they would break, but yeah maybe I didnt make the texture good enough to look like wood 100%.

Here is my attempt at the bowl, I tried to make a wooden look:

If you like it, tell me to send you a link to the model&texture via PM. I cant post a link cause of limited bandwith.

Edit: The image above is rendered without any lighting, so the mesh is not shaded on them. Also everything is done from scratch, model & texture, no refferences were used.

 cheers, scream681.
