What the hell would we do without the romans?  I say we also allow random captured monsters to be faught against as well, might be a bit interesting. ;)

Veldengrath, your idea is just YEARNING for a D&D style \"modified item\" type of thing ie: \"Ajaxx\'s Sword of Choice\", \"Ajaxx\'s Sword of Choice +3\", \"Ajaxx\'s Sword of Choice +7\" etc... This by the way would not be all that bad of an idea to help quickly and painlessly create more of a variety of weapons to the game.

You do realise that this would require every model to be made up uf thousands of OTHER little models, and all of these would have to be kept track of by the server and would require a compleatly rewriten game engine, oh i have an idea, while we\'re at it, lets just rip out the Emotion Engine from our PS2s and solder it to our motherboards.

Ps. dont waste waste charactors link ;)

Ok, im not sure if this has already been asked... but how difficult will it be to start a guild war?  I mean, if its as easy as setting up a guild then they might just enable PvP and save us the hassle...

Think of it like our sun.

Keep it simple, but yes, GUIs for anything make it look far more professional.

I like the idea of using it as a reward system, ie, the more powerful the spell, the brighter or more vibrant it is.  Something tells me that making the spell bigger would induce lag though...

Hah thanks for the info link , maybe a delivery in a less caustic manner would be in order next time, given the fact that i joined the boards 2 days ago.

Is streaming the world in the way of a 2D image possible?  Such that the client renders the world in view by processing a color coded 2d image sent by the server?  I realise that this would offload almost all the work onto the client (and im not sure if this isnt already done) but if a more efficient process for sending the user the world is not already in place, then the computer would have to render less that is not in view... im not sure how one would make a system like this, but if you could simplify the process of rendering what the server sent, then maybe users would experience less rendering based lag.

(Please tell me if im talking out of my @ss here... because while i am somewhat of a programer i have no experience with 3d rendering)

I love this idea, customizability is what its all about, but let it be known that \"Lag\" will always be the most feared magik of the realm  ;)

In addition to what i said about PVP, i think that one should get NO experience for killing a player under your own level of skill, and only a little bit for those above you.
