im using Wine + the windows version ans it works fine and looks even less buggy than running it on windows normally.

My brother expereienced a few problems, like having to click the text of the loot item to select it, background colours for transparant images etc.. (like blue on the wings of the fish-like people...) pressing enter doesnt get rid of the current chat session etc..

and i\'ve got none of that..

planeshift + wine runs fine... the main town map take ages to load but thats cause i have a 32mb Gcard lol...

I can help with the graphic side, but i\'m still not used to GIMP yet, from being a photoshop user, plus my tablet isnt supported =( lol..

i was going to make a skin for the game and i guess i can do some item graphics too =)

Thats the setting for windows desktop..  The game would make an attempt to change the resolution and colour setting when you run it... thats why mosts games on windows, if you have a CRT moniter you can here the clicking if you say, have a game running in 800*600 and your desktop at 1200* because it changes it.

You need to go into the planeshift folder, run pssetup and hit \"16bit\"... though i thought that menu opened up before planeshift came on? atleast i think thats what happened for my brother.

how can they find out if it working if they dissable it? jsut because it doesnt work for you or window doesnt mean thats the case for linux or mac users...

you need it running to try it out and get it working, live with it and dont use it if its an issue =)

that Graphic card seams to be pretty bad.. i have it and it caused me hell in my windows machine.

^ That, and the fact \'will\' is partialy, if not totaly based towards magic /spell casting of a perticular way/type... so if you want to be high on magic.. consider a change... but with that said i hear there arnt to many spell avliable yet anyway.

If it lagging in the affect that, you walk fowards... your moving fowards and you pop back where you first were, that is usally associated with a bad internet connect to the server, or that server\'s connection is bottled necked.

If other people seam to be jumping about, it can be both to do with your graphic card /computer not coping with the ammount of detail on screen at any given time or the new client is just buggy and the graphics wont run smoothly with a lot of details on screen, which may make it look like server is lagging connection wise as it can make your request messsed up.   that or the server cant handle too many people in one area...

give it a few days, there are a few bugs in the client

i dont assume everyone has the same version as me, but how am i suposed to know your using windows if:
1.Your blind and cant see the bit torrent download + all the mirrors temporary dissabled because they need to get the owners to upload the new files.
2. Your blind and cant see the massive link that says download on the main page
3. You dont say you are using windows?
4. You dont say that you have the old .3.10 version install or not +5
5. You have the old .3.10 version installed but you don\'t say that you\'ve tried the updater, it was download the 3.11 version but failed thus you need the Raw copy.

And then make any logical connection that you are infact using windows because you failed the above?
