I have a very similar problem. Only since the last change. I have updated in the past many times.
Basically both the updater and the recovery updater run as far as getting the reg updates (100%) then sit doing nothing for about 2 mins (while the progress bar remains empty) then the computer (XP service pack 2, 1 G mem) blue screens and reboots. I have never had anything else bluescreen this pc before! Any suggestions?
Of course because of the blue screen, I cannot read any error messages.

I have just tried \"Check game server\" and the server doesn\'t respond. So it looks like my PC cannot contact Fragnetics for some reason! The web site seems to indicate its up though.
