Also, you should include more information about your system, like video card, amount of ram, soundcard, directx version, connection to internet speed, and anything else you can think of.

This question is answered a thousand times and you can not point out a valid place that it is answered?

If it has been answered a thousand times and as it seems, a lot of the people all experience this same problem, why is it not on the known bugs list?

wait 5 min? I have logged on for about 3 minutes out of the last hour and a half due to attempting to log on, without waiting, about thrity seconds was generally enough for it to disconnect my other player.  But i am having a problem where it stops responding.  Even the \"safe\" mode did so.

I am having major problems logging in.  It just stops responding about 8/10 times.  Also I seem to not be able to write anything in the chat area.  No letters appear.

My properties for psclient.exe has three options under attributes only: read-only hidden and archive, all of which are not helpful here.

BTW im running ME

Personal as well as game record/notes can be kept on your own computer, thus allowing you to view personal notes from other characters logged onto from your own computer, which might be a good and bad idea.  Good if you need a note from a different character and bad if someone else uses your computer and changes your personal notes, possibly deleting them.

Fanomatic2000 one problem.  Differences between the classes.  A mage who loses all his equipment is still a force to deal with (spells) yet a warrior who loses all his equipment might very well lose his entire investment is equipment and ability to do damage.

It could be an option, but would require some kind of warning!   Possibly you lose less the better you finish.  Does the winner recieve all/most of the goodies?

Wish list / Various ideas from me/other game.

Because this game view is the way it is instead of the top down standard version, there needs to be some kind of DIRECTION.

CHAT:  On Faldon, the chat is a lot simpler.  G=guild, A=ally guild S=Say T=Tell R=reply (very helpful and yet annoying at times) B=broadcast(everyone in channel) Y=yell(same map) and channels can be changed too. Channel main and changechannel newchannelname.

There should be a little bit of NEWBIE help built into the game.  I have not played at all except for looking around an area of about 100 ft radius.  I am a complete newbie to this game.  In most games, there is either no or little built in help to the game.  In faldon there is a guy near the beginning that you can talk to and who will show you on the overall map of the town where to go to do things as well as explain a few basics.  Something like this would be helpful and would cause less problems then newbies repetatively asking for help (a common favorite among all RPGers).  Some remember those times when they were newbies and choose to help, but even then they can be overwhelmed.

(from faldon)
Fighting: left click/ctrl buttons
Mage, select spell then right click/space
buttons built in to view different screens
/=inventory
][\'; had some uses but its been a while, they worked for spell lists as well as skill lists to choose from (a pop-up screen of icons to click.
\\=use item in first inventory slot (very helpful when fighting monsters/people and you need to eat/restore mana)

Please excuse me if this stuff has already been stated.  I have not read many of the posts.

More to come later! I am off to play now!!!!

Maps are great.  For this one game Faldon, I created mining maps of squares in mines that held ore (which generated over time).  Eventually, this made it much more easy for myself to mine because i had memorized the entirity of it.  The best mine I did not bother with because i never had the time and my frequent visits to the lesser mines was enough.

I agree with the map idea you are talking about.  It would look interesting and give enough of a general idea about the place to make it helpful yet not make it too easy.  Who would want a straightup walkthrough of everything?  You wouldn\'t find anything for yourself and lose out on some of the fun of exploration and finding those hidden treasures.

very interesting.  The hunger/death also solves the problem of macro cheaters who use a program to train afk.  Eventually they will fall over and die.
