Oh, no one told me too, Im just trying everything to play PlaneShift, I dont see what could be the problem now... Is there any other possible solution? I turned them all back on, got rid of some old software...Got some updates for window, maybe now?

Technical Help: Problems BEFORE entering the game / Freezes on Loading, after all this!?!

As I select my character then click \"Join Game\" or whatever it says, it begins to load... The message requesting world, world loading appeare, i get the MOTD, and that little tip in the corner of the screen. it usually gets about 1/5 of the way full and then just stops, thus stops running and I have to end task PS...

Things Ive done-
Updated Graphics Card
Set PS on 16bit, comp is on 24bit
Run PS in a 800x600 res in a window
Turned Sound Off
Turned Fire Wall Off
Turned Virus Protection Off

I dont get a run time error or anything, i stopped getting those awhile ago, it just stops running....anyone have any answers?

I think im having a slightly similar problem, I did update my graphics card, im running the game in 16 bit, while my computer is set on 24bit \"True Color\" I get to the loading world screen and the bar fills up about less then half way, then PS stops responding and just kinda crashes, I am not running it in full screen anymore either and the sounds is off...any ideas? should I just keep trying?

I even turned my Firewall and Virus Protection off, and still I cant get anywhere...But before I even updated my driver i got to GUI loading...

Ok, now i got all that pass, now Im just having problems with a DLL file called

Cant find DBGHELP.DLL

is this really a problem, should I keep trying or is there something wrong?

Ha I tried it again, and now I got a Diagnostic Error or something like that, but before i was missing the DLL file, what if that happens again?

Hello everyone, Ive been going around the web searching for people to join in, in my Arcanium Online game...Its the second rpg forum ive created and its a great thing to do in your off time....Its contains a lot of rules from dnd and some home made stuff as well...Id help anyone out who\'d join and Im almost always online as well, the game itself...Time line & era and all, is truly amazing and possibly thee most mind boggeling of them all...Loads of puzzles, dungeons, monsters, and traps ready to be defeated and seen...Anyone up to it?

Sounds like some damn fun! I just started playing (heh sorta) and I just herd a few things, and boy lemme tell ya, I love my metal...Sure Ill make some things, What kinda guitar/insturment do you play? I own a Warlok sig. 7 Bc Riche.... Powerful in all terms of metal!

Technical Help: Problems BEFORE entering the game / Runtime Error and a missing .DLL file

Ok I just started playing (well sorta) as of tonight, I made my character, uploaded it and then clicked on \"Join the Game\" button, im pretty sure thats what its called. Well the first time around i was told that I had a missing .DLL file, stupid on my part not remembering the name of it, but then I got hit with a runtime error.... Now Im not sure if this was posted in any of the sticky posts, but I went through a couple pages and didnt see any information on it anywhere so I decided to make my own thread.



Anyone have any idea on either of the problems?
