Technical Help: IN GAME bugs (after loading world) /
« on: December 11, 2005, 06:31:38 am »
The access violation is 7C00724A. I updated and it still crashed :(. Also when I was updating after it finished I clicked update again and it started downloading the same files that it had already downloaded. Is is supposed to do that??? Im assuming the stone thing is some sort of spell, I don\'t know any yet though.

Technical Help: IN GAME bugs (after loading world) / CRASES ON LOAD!!!
« on: December 11, 2005, 05:38:09 am »
Whenever I load into the game it crashes and says \"exception access violation.\" This has never happened before, and my computer has not changed at all. It started graduallly, first it happened infrequently, and now as soon as I log on it crashes. What do I do? it may be a bug, my character is just inside the arena. Before now the game has worked without problem, what has happeded?

Wish list / In-Game minnigames
« on: October 12, 2005, 04:00:50 am »
--)I think it would be cool to have minigames available to people in PS, such as chess, checkers ect. The games wouldn\'t necessarily have to have a set of rules. What I mean is it wouldn\'t have to be programmed into the game that castleing out of check is an illeagal move, or how the pieces move and such. All you would need is the pieces and the ability to move them on a board. The people playing could regulate the moves, or even spectators. Eventually you could have guild sponsered tournaments for money or items.

--)Haveing minigames like chess would heighten the level of enjoyment, and as far as I know it isn\'t being done by any other mmorpgs. It would make PlaneShift more unique and also create a bridge from high level characters to low level. In order to keep with the theme, you could modify the games or appearance of the pieces. You could even create an entirely new game solely for planeshift, and you could give an in-game history too...
