Hello everyone,

I haven't been around for some time because PS wasn't working with my os ( 10.2.8 ). I checked back and saw that the system requirements call for 10.2.6 or later. Is this true? Do I really get to jump back into the PS world? It would make my day! EDIT: Is there anyone else out there still using 10.2.x?

So if PS doesn't work out for 10.2, I may just have to bite the bullet and upgrade to a newer OS (I've got a few music software reasons to do so as well). Does anyone know if an old iBook G3 w/ 640MB RAM might have problems doing so?

I tried updating as per your instructions using mirror 2 with no change. I'll try using mirror one in the near future.

EDIT: I've repeated the process with mirror 1 with the same result (i.e. the apps still fail to launch). ChaOs, I noticed in another thread you said, "I don't think there's a complete Mac bundle out yet, and the updaters need admin privileges to allow you to run the apps." Could these issues have anything to do with my problem, or do they pertain only to using BitTorrent?

P.S. Also, Updater-old says that the repository is out of date when I use either mirror 1 or 2...

Yeah, I tried morrors 1 and 2. Should I try deleting everything except for those three things you specified and then run Updater-old in debug mode?

I did as you suggested, ChaOs, and it still isn't working. :S Could something possibly be conflicting with the old version of PS (still on my machine, but in another folder)? Are other 10.2.8 people experiencing problems?

The following was already posted in another thread, but seems to have gotten lost in the jumble and hasn't received a response. Please let me know if this sort of double-posting is an abuse of the forums.

I've tried deleting psclient and pssetup and re-updating with Updater-old.jar (I'm running MacOS 10.2.8 ) and I still can't get either app to launch. I double-click either of the icons, which appear in the dock and bounce for several seconds before disappearing. Restarting my machine doesn't change anything. Is there something else I ought to try? Updater.app also quits in the same fashion. I tried deleting it and re-downloading it with Updater-old.jar but it still won't launch.
